Had a heart attack some years ago, and got a stent operation like Brian. In the following year I built this Red Special, as away to get back to normal life. Thank you Brian. Per L.
@Joe Michaels thats what people mean by the tone is in the fingers. It sucks that companies make money by making ignorant people think they can just buy their way into greatness.
I can get his We Will Rock You tone pretty faithfully with just a Vox AC15HW (with alnico blues), an Epiphone Casino, and a brass guitar pick. But overall, his tone is so iconic
agreed somewhat but the tone Brian got with his Vox's on the Starfleet Project in '83 was very similar to EVHs tone with Ed's holy grail Marshall plexi. I think the way they were approaching the project was similar i.e. Blues Rock so their styles and tones matched or at least complimented eachother very well.
@@BillDerBerg IDK when, but at some point Eddie and Brian swapped guitars for about a month. And both of them couldn't tell the difference in the sound they got.

i know this video was made a long time ago but on the off chance you read this, really nice job! it looks and sounds amazing, almost exactly like brian’s. you’re really talented both in playing guitar and making guitars.
Fantastic guitar and video.Very detailed. Its inspired me to make one myself,I've got most of the information wonder if you or anyone commenting can tell me the measurements of the tremelo cavity I can't find it on the web anywhere.im guessing the depth is 30mm but not sure of the half moon size. :-)
Incredible, looks & sounds so much like the original RS. Of course you had the advantage of lathes & other such specialist equipment. Brian & his dad had none of those things
+Raya Gandhi its a truss rod. Strings will as time goes by make the neck bend in a curve. To compensate that and straighten the neck again you just have to adjusting the truss rod nut. Almost all guitars have such a thing going inside neck.

Every time I look at the guitar or play it, I think that it was worth every penny. I couldn't have spent my time of early retirement in a better way.
