I'll donate! What a strange twist of nature where the stallions can hurt the newborns this way. The poor mother must be so stressed to be disconnected from her newborn baby. Thank goodness for the keen eyes of the person who spotted this poor but lucky little filly.
Seeing this foal standing at that fence, staring at the traffic just about ripped my heart out! Jordan I know you are a cowboy but every time you rescue these babies I see big wings sprouting from your shoulders! Mighty amazing!
It grieves the heart knowing the mother could not keep her foal due to whatever happened. . . But thank the Lord you are doing this great work of kindness and doing your best to save them!
What a sweet baby! She looked better already, on the way to the vet, and she's so relaxed! I can't imagine how lonely and frightened she must have felt before Jordan found her, poor little thing. Candace you got it right: the colostrum would contain (in addition to nutrients) antibodies that give the foal "passive immunity" to bridge the time until their own immune system is fully functioning. Hoping for the best for this little filly! She could not be in better hands!
Jordan is such a still, calm person around horses. A great quality to possess around new foals. She is such a little beauty. Glad you all found her in time. You are such a great couple and the feral foals are so fortunate that you are there for them.
I'm a horse owner in the UK and my sharer has a 10 month old New Forest foal( a native England breed). When I look at Jack and how well he looks and is growing, and your new little girl, my heart goes out to you for helping her x
I just watched all 4 videos & I understand that the foals have natural herd instincts, BUT Jordan is something special! Ranger, Sage & Shadow were my introduction to y'all & the work you do. Praying for you & this little filly. ❤
@@patriciaserdahl5577I just watched another video where ranger was being ridden and I can't believe it was that long ago that the tiny little guy got rescued
@@patriciaserdahl5577 it was the video of rescuing ranger did I became a watcher of this channel. I remember the video of ranger not being too happy about the sick paint baby being in the trailer. It so touched my heart when they returned that baby to its Homeland to be buried. That was when I subscribed to the channel. I look forward every spring to see what the Wild gives us.
Keeping sweet little foal in my prayers and good thoughts. Blessings to you and Jordan for being there for these sweet little babies. I still remember when you found Ranger. You have come a long way since then. Love, Light and Blessings to all! Cheers!
I’m absolutely over the moon knowing this precious little girl is in your safe hands Candice, loving the updates on her, and wondering what her name will be, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
Sweet sweet baby, she couldn't be in better hands, so wonderful what you do for these precious fouls, she obviously very smart clinging onto Jordan ❤ she knows so much love and care coming her way ❤
I would so much rather watch your channel than the channels where people try so hard to imprint very young foals at days old. You guys are the real deal.❤
It's amazing in first world countries the sort of medical things that are available. I am caring for a 3 month old colt at this time whose mom was devastated by ticks in the open savannah. She was not able to produce milk and when we came into contact with the filly it was so weak, full of ticks and the hind legs were infected with something. We tried out best with our local pharmacy to get meds to treat him because the vet comes once in a blue moon to the rural areas. So, far he is doing well and is healing. These little ones are strong and just needs a bit of care and love. Keep doing what you are doing and she will be strong and big soon.
That must have been a relief to get to the Vet 👍❤️ With my OCD sort of personality, detail, hyper vigilant etc I would have had a STROKE because I couldn’t magically whisk that baby to a Vet within seconds. 😂. I seem calm on the outside but am usually near literal death from stress when on my way to a Vet or a cat rescue situation, or trying to help a homeless person. The feeling always is that I JUST can’t move fast enough. Bless you all.
Awwww so glad your posting to show us how baby is doing❤❤❤hope you guys decide to keep her she can be your mascot for foal rescue…just a thought as I’m sure you get so many every year, blessings to you and you family for what you do……just let us know what happens to her in her journey in her life❤we are all rooting for her…..
Glad to see you're still on the goal of saving these babies. So different than what I saw in northern Nevada years ago. I'm not really good at navigating the internet, but will attempt to find my way to your site to donate.
Bless you both. Sent a little something to help whittle away at those vet bills. Appreciate all you do for the horses and the subscribers on TH-cam. Love your content...keep it coming!
Did you look for the mother? That would be nice to know. I feel sorry for the mother who immediately lost her baby. Very sad for them both. Thank you!❤
Do you know what happened to her mom? Did she survive? A mare would normally never abandon her foal. Trying to figure out what happened. Thank you for saving this poor and precious baby's life. She is gorgeous and so sweet and trusting of you! She thinks you both are her mom.
Are these WILD horses? What part of the country are you? The helicopter round-ups separate foals from mares, too! A terrible thing that must stop! …Thank you….Will donate.🐴💚🐴
If you go to their channel home page and click on - "Welcome to our TH-cam channel, where passion for horses meets the journey of rescue", their donation information will be there.
It’s amazing your saving feral foals and our Government here in Australia has shut down the mountains and is shooting our feral horses and nothing we can do about it it’s disgusting
That's so horrible! Start a movement to bring it to attention and protest. Maybe if enough Australians are outraged you can get a law to protect your brumbies!
Would it be possible for you to keep a baby bottle full of water permanently in your truck so that whenever this happens at least the foal will have water… I know milk would go bad, but surely a bottle of water would greatly help…
If I ever win a lottery I am donating a ton of money for these babies.
we hope you win the lottery

It is not strange, in many animal species males fight over females and even kill the offspring of rivals.
thankyou. it is a very stressful situation, that sometimes doesnt end this optimistic.
That's cuz they want to breed the mother so they chase the babies away or chase the mother away from the baby
Yes the stallions can be mean.
That’s life
You are both wonderful people rescuing these baby horses, God bless you both.!

Jordan...is a regular, Horse Whisperer, for-sure.
Praying that the morning will bring good news for this precious baby! Thank you for caring so wonderfully for all the babies over the years!
She’s so lucky you were able to find her and will give her what she needs. Thank you!
I LOVE baby foal season!
thankyou for supporting the first filly, your support means alot
The work you folks do adds much love to the world.
Yeah, the name of Twister sounds like a good great name for this little orphaned horse foal filly.
Just donated on your PayPal account. Blessings to you for what you’re doing for these precious animals.
Thank you for helping the foals!
thankyou Mary, your support is appreciated

Hey guys, thanks for what you do!
Thanks!
we appreciate your support
Her barn name should be flapper because she flaps her tail each and every single time she eats outta the bucket of milk.

The world needs more people like you guys. Thanks for saving these foals.
She looks a little like Shadow!
So grateful that vets have a way to check for colostrum intake on the babies.you rescue.! ?such a sweet heart. do brave. so determined to survive.
Hope she gets good and strong. She’s lovely.
Sage, Shadow, Ranger and now this lil cutie. Did I miss anyone who’s ride in your truck ? 👍🐴❤️💯
Yes, there was another one I think Stormy, was the name they picked.
I remember a little white and sorrel paint foal who didn’t make it and had to be put down. I think it was back in 2020.😢
Smokey! Last years foal iirc
All the scary noises, new sights, and new smells. I hope someone sleeps with this baby so it will never feel alone again.
To see her sleeping in Jordan's lap tells a big story.❤
Thanks for all you do. This is totally a gift you are giving to voiceless creatures who are lost or hurt❤

Is anyone free to take a wild horse or do you need permission. ?
Thankfully you are able to help this little one.

Usually U can contact a ranch that saves some colostrum for emergencies in your area! Your vet should know.
It was not known how old she was, and the gut closes within 12 to 24 hours and will not accept colostrum after that.
@@ronmccabe7164 nurse mare's milk would still do some good though.
Some little foal just hit the jackpot. She is so dainty. How about Little Miss for her name?
Give the baby a great big hug for me, take care, Candice!
