I grew up listening to this song voice. Until now these days I never saw the wonderfully delightful bright and tender soul of this lady who gives this music the life it overflows with. Wow. I am 77 and I well remember starting to learn to play tenor sax when I was a kid of 15 or 16 and the whole bossa nova thing was just getting going. So I kind of grew up on a diet of Stan Getz and Astrid Gilberto and I am still in love with the music of Brazil. This lady was my fairy goddess then and musically still is. Sadly she is no longer with us but for me she still around musically and always will be.
I listen to her every single day, continuously. I'm in love with her. Astrud has enriched my life unspeakably. I just want to tell her. Thank you so much for sharing this.

This is wonderful and adorable. She's never shrill or too insistent and you can listen to her forever. So "quietly" musical (if you know what I mean) which seems the essence of her personality. This is grace and wonderful music. Kudos to the band who do the some thing. There is passion and commitment here too.
