@darkness007666 Yeah, GW apparently doesn't get that an animal can't hibernate if it has no energy, and the Tyranids are never implied to have any sort of sustaining mechanisms, they are designed entirely for fighting, like soldier ants.
@Demetrius900000 correct me if i'm wrong: Adeptus Astartes are (with a few exceptions) forbidden from having more than 1000 members. Thus, even if an entire chapter were composed of dreadknoughts, you wouldn't have 40,000
@Kamfrenchie I was talking about the core rule description, but yeah we do get a ton of contradictions to the point where I guess the developers can just say "Who gives a shit, the only constancy is destruction and stupid evil anyways."
It's 7 years and the intro scene for each fraction or chapters of each races in chapters of all kinds in the Imperium of man confuse familiar because I played with a PS3 40K game known as kill team what's forgotten In My Memory because of some people don't like it or whatever reason it is
Presumably the true story for Retribution is a mix of the campaigns of all six races. The Blood Ravens appear again in Space Marine years after Retribution, so exception is that the Tyranid Ending is not canon, but part of the campaign might be seeing as Merrick was found incapacitated. Also the Blood Ravens were successful in preventing Exterminatus of the entire subsector, so at the very least the "entire subsector being terminated" part of the Chaos Space Marines ending is not canon either.
@Demetrius900000 I know how you feel, bro. But there is nothing we can do about it.And yes, every mission in dow2 series looks like the others. the difference between us is that I enjoyed units running around crying 'for the emprah\warboss\chaos' and making everething explodes
@Kamfrenchie I still have a bit of difficulty getting with Khorne giving gifts to a traitor liberian since he's supposed to hate the use of physic powers. And personally I find the Dark Eldar and Sisters of Battle appearing Soulstorm way dumber than 100 baneblades.
@Demetrius900000 er, dreadnoughts? dreadnaughts? ... that's harder to spell than it has any right to be =/ i mean the walkers that heavily wounded space marines are encased in.
@dragonstormx you mean the books of black library? they aren't exactly canon, and anyway the 40k lore is so huge that contradictions are inavoidable. plus, all thhe tyrannids arent exactly the same, some of them, among the billions produced, may have mutations allowing them to survive
@dragonstormx well I'd say they tooks sme liberty/ freedom with the fluff, but i'd say it's not too much of a fluff rape. Not like the 100 baneblades of soulstorm :p
They really messed up Retribution. No matter what you are, the Blood Ravens are the main guys and even the intro is an unskipable, boring speech you must listen 6 times. If only I'd find this video before...
they will be in next DoW chapter its same like with DoW 1 Winter Assault ( imperial guard) Dark Crusade ( Tau, Necrons soulsstorm (dark eldars, sisters of battle) in time they shuld put em back
Just thought of something. Why didn't the Imperium just send in the Sisters of Battle, incorruptible and massive numbers, they'd still destroy most of the sector, but they'd still be able to make use of the sector as well? Seems like an awful waste of a sector, especially since the corruption really isn't that bad, its just Kyras has the Imperium freaking out.
0:11 The Force Commander's crimes proved heinous to the point where even execution would prove too lenient of a punishment. Instead, records of his past glories would be redacted, his rank stripped down to that of a Tactical Sergeant and is to always be helmeted at all times, as if to live in a world as if he never existed at all. . . . . . Thought i'd write some BS about how the protagonist of DOW2 and Chaos Rising isn't even canonical at all, as Retribution's intro has doctored him out of the flashback shown in the timestamp
Their raids are fairly few and far between, the chances of one sub-sector being raided in the course of the few weeks this game takes place in are highly unlikely.
Against Necrons and Tau, lets just say that you would need more then a woman inquisitor and few squads of cool spess mehreens. Even if tau is peaceful, their technology isn't.
The Tyranids shouldn't be able to hide around planets, all the books say they have no means of sustaining themselves so they should starve to death in a few days. Oh well, that's a villain sue for you, half the time ignoring its own weaknesses.
Can you really call this as "intros" =S? As it is barely a minute long and it isnt until the late part of his speech that you understand which race it is, and I wouldnt have a clue about the Eldar =S.
@Demetrius900000 And then obviously you haven't played it.... Also, how can you call this game shit, since developers did a great job on making it considering they had smaller developer team than CR had and a year of making the expansion? Sorry, but this is not Blizzard and you should take consideration on my points.
@pro100watcher If I hadn't enjoyed it,I would have uninstalled this game after first playthrough. But I too enjoy those little things,it's just strikes me as odd that after pretty good first DoW Relic creates a game that is good only in multiplayer. And those "videos" on game's engine are awful. Do you remember DoW intro? Epic. In DoW II I haven't seen anything like it.
They suck TBH.. No place in the WH40k universe. The Tau never had and the necrons lost theirs when the fluff gave them their souls back and they now have to pass morale checks from losses etc. in the TT version.
The game is just stupid boring shit,I hoped for a different missions,but NO,they're all the same no matter who're you playing,and same goes for the story.....Good thing that I haven;t bought it.
You know some serious shit is going down when you heard "The Imperium has had enough"
"go back to the toombs from whence you came, alien"
necron response:
"gladly, but first, we must help you to yours"
now that's badass.
Damn WH40k has so much potential to become an even larger franchise than it currently is, in regards to game development.
@darkness007666
Yeah, GW apparently doesn't get that an animal can't hibernate if it has no energy, and the Tyranids are never implied to have any sort of sustaining mechanisms, they are designed entirely for fighting, like soldier ants.
I miss the necron :(
Maybe Relic will use them in later DOW2 games.
MrCouchmen The next game will be DOW 3, hope it will be as good as DOW 1
well the next game is coming out within 2 days what's your thoughts about it because hell it doesn't feel like DoW but it's very good on it's own game
Ignacio Oceja it suck
@0Maloy1 the Sisters are scarce and not as numerous as the Space Marines.
Also, Relic probably couldn't bother to program them.
@Demetrius900000 correct me if i'm wrong: Adeptus Astartes are (with a few exceptions) forbidden from having more than 1000 members. Thus, even if an entire chapter were composed of dreadknoughts, you wouldn't have 40,000
Well I am disapointed that each army did not really get it's own opening.
@Kamfrenchie
I was talking about the core rule description, but yeah we do get a ton of contradictions to the point where I guess the developers can just say "Who gives a shit, the only constancy is destruction and stupid evil anyways."
Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment
thats deep
Nice. So which race is next?
@HalfTangible dreadnoughts:)
What was the point in your explanation about Astartes?
Does anyone know the name of the music that plays in these intros?
It's 7 years and the intro scene for each fraction or chapters of each races in chapters of all kinds in the Imperium of man confuse familiar because I played with a PS3 40K game known as kill team what's forgotten In My Memory because of some people don't like it or whatever reason it is
what happened to the necrons or the tau :(
Where can I find the BGM for this?
Presumably the true story for Retribution is a mix of the campaigns of all six races. Music?
what no Tau???
+Posion Pool The Tau are overrated.
+Frank G NO WAY
What is the song playing in the background called?
I'm kind of late, but the music playing in the background is just a muffled version of "Primarch's Honour"
@Demetrius900000 I know how you feel, bro. But there is nothing we can do about it.And yes, every mission in dow2 series looks like the others. the difference between us is that I enjoyed units running around crying 'for the emprah\warboss\chaos' and making everething explodes

@pro100watcher Why not 40000 dreadknights?
@HalfTangible dreadknoughts?
yeah there is no any sign for the tau or the necrons
@Demetrius900000 er, dreadnoughts? dreadnaughts?
... that's harder to spell than it has any right to be =/ i mean the walkers that heavily wounded space marines are encased in.
Да беше написал коя раса кога почва поне. Искам да гледам интрото единствено на Chaos Space Marines.
@dragonstormx
you mean the books of black library? they aren't exactly canon, and anyway the 40k lore is so huge that contradictions are inavoidable. plus, all thhe tyrannids arent exactly the same, some of them, among the billions produced, may have mutations allowing them to survive
tau didn't like all the close combat, the necrons battery's ran out
@xDarksoil
dont worry, if i know Warhammer 40k, there will be atleast 2 more expansions ;D
I thought they only got the rights to the fantasy one
thats the one that I heard they are planning to make a total war setting on.
@dragonstormx
well I'd say they tooks sme liberty/ freedom with the fluff, but i'd say it's not too much of a fluff rape. Not like the 100 baneblades of soulstorm :p
they aren't based around those planets i'm guessing?
Like a total war game?
Are we allowed talk about the squats here? :3
Dark Eldar?
Retribution adds four new factions; Tau Empire, Necrons, Dark Eldar, and Sisters of Battle.
@HellFox83 I know I know, I am not criticizing you, but the game itself =P.
@MrAnthonyDraft All right,all right,I see your point. But can you see mine? After epic DoW, DoW II isn't that satisfying.
Steam ?
Hunted by Chuck Norris?
They really messed up Retribution. No matter what you are, the Blood Ravens are the main guys and even the intro is an unskipable, boring speech you must listen 6 times. If only I'd find this video before...
So blood ravens are likely a loyalist successor of the thousand sons???!!
No, most likely white scars
they will be in next DoW chapter
its same like with DoW 1 Winter Assault ( imperial guard) Dark Crusade ( Tau, Necrons soulsstorm (dark eldars, sisters of battle)
in time they shuld put em back
i realy wish that relic makes a dow game were u can use the god machines
Just thought of something. Have you completed game with all factions?If yes did you unlock anything new...like some new faction?
No, that's all there is.
Oh!!ok thank you
Watching these back to back is funny, it's Gabriel is done, but then he just keeps talking...
how? tau r to peaceful to fight. I learned that playing dark crusade
Are chaos daemons palyable on this game and chaos rising?

I know its a stupid question, but is he in retribution
@@shonxx9109 He isn't. Diomedes replaces him
@@flashn00b Wrong, The Force Commander is The Ancient Veteran Sergeant
@@noplesnono9656 The Ancient is revealed to be Tarkus, the Tactical Sergeant in DOW2 and Chaos Rising.

MEHREEN 1: DUDE. HOLY SHIT UR LEGS ARE GONE!
MEHREEN 2: ITS OK MAN!! PUT ME INA GIANT METAL SUIT AND CALL ME A DREADNAUGHT I CAN STILL BEAT SOME ASS!
4:45 Beans, Roquefort cheese, and broccoli.
Yet....hope endures
DEADTH TO THE FALSE EMPOROR CHAOS FOREVER
Yes! I just won an argument against one of the False Emperor's followers. Join me Chaos Lord Jonny Woods and lead the Death Guard legion.
George Kourie Blood Pact is better. Ordinary humans that kick as much ASS as any CSM in the name of Chaos!
***** No, killing like that is pointless. Fighting while dedicated to a Chaos God rewards you with greater power.
burn the heratic! purge the unclean! kill the xeno!
Commodore22345 I know. BLOOD pact, returns to Blood God = Khorne. It's obvious they serve Khorne.
I kinda like the tau faction

Necron ran out of batteries, and the tau ran out of merchenaries.
That chapter leader looks creepy
But i'am sure his not the bad guy or something
wouldn't have fit in the story?
Both are not possible to be balanced! If their races would come, they would be certainly OP!
At least Kyras' speech was pretty good.
The fucking frame rate hurts my eyes !
Funny, seeing as Creative Assembly got the rights to the Dawn of War games
@Demetrius900000 I'm not big enough
if the necrons are asleep and exsterminatus happens they will be the only ones left!
Can you really call this as "intros" =S? As it is barely a minute long and it isnt until the late part of his speech that you understand which race it is, and I wouldnt have a clue about the Eldar =S.

NO ONE EXPECTS THE INPERIUM INQUISITION!!
they only wanted OG races in this game.
extinted
METAL BAWKSES!!!
Not really...
Tau found no interest in human affairs I'm sure. Sub-system aurelia has no Tomb-Worlds therefore no necron
well aint that shit
Мда, камрад. Быть может следующая часть DoW будет не просто красивой псевдотактикой.
А пока, как говорится, на безрыбье...
Well good hunt then xD
@pro100watcher Oh,fellow russian. Heh. I fear what will be with DoW III. With this tendency third one will be unbearable piece of shit.

NO. Necrons are fucking sick lore wise. But seeing as i only paint figures, not play them, i have no clue how they work in a game.
guess not that important or dead or will be in anew game like dawn of war 3...
