When I made my first metal-style cover of Opening Stage (X) from Mega Man X: Corrupted soundtrack, it was supposed to be kind of a one-time thing, an experiment. However, after a very positive reception which I'm very grateful of, and a couple of suggestions to cover another song from the same soundtrack, I knew that I had to do it again. So I present to you: metal cover of Skyway / Hurricane Hoatzin!
I learned a lot from my first attempt and I personally feel I mixed this one a little better, even though it doesn't have quite the same power as the first one... that was the magic touch of Tuomas' mastering ;)
I still have lot to learn about playing, recording & mixing electric guitar but projects like this give me great motivation to keep practicing.
