I remember watching this movie on TV with my mother and father in 1959. I was ten years old at the time. Back then they were great horror movies , tho this was less of horror than others. Still a great movie of the time . Plus a great cast , of who would be faymous later on. At 70 now it's great too see again. Tom Daytona Beach, FL.

Agnes Moorehead has always been awesome. When you factor in film, TV and radio she was rarely without work. And who can forget her in Twilight Zone “The Invaders”
My absolute favorite Vincent Price movie; and Agnes Moorehead is splendid in this! Also, the actress who played the character Lizzy Allen was a hoot! The movie has all the elements of a superb murder mystery...lots of suspense with plenty thrills and chills, the sound effects of the wind and the thunder, the big spooky house and all its furnishings... everything is just right!! I prefer the old black and white mysteries, serials, detectives and westerns. The story lines may be a little dated but they are a lot better that the stuff produced today.
