  • Showing the 37 Litre pack from the Dutch Army.
The camouflage used is: Netherlands Fractal Pattern or NFP.
Great little pack, with lots of customization options.
This pack was first operationally introduced in 2021.
TNO (A Dutch organisation for applied scientific research) and soldiers started development in 2017.
Research actually already started in 2008, in that year teams of Photographers from the Ministry Of Defence, in cooperation with TNO Defence & Security, got sent out over the world to make recordings that could decide the best pattern/print for certain environments., and they came up with 4 prints for the new gear. A 5th still being developed
    - NFP-Green for urban and forest area's in East and West Europe.
    - NFP-Tan for dry area's like deserts, steppes and savannas.
    - NFP-Navy for personal working on board of naval vessels.
    - NFP-Multitone for equipment and personal protective equipment.
    - (in development) NFP-Arctic for winter(mountain) climate (i haven't seen it yet, and don't know if they ever even finished designing it..)
TNO was mostly responsible for the (Netherlands) Fractal Pattern, where as the soldier had a lot to say (some not all) about the functionality and design as well.
It was designed so it works with the soldiers, not the soldiers with the gear.
However the military is always looking for the next edge, and there is simply a lot of bags out there to pick from., like the 3 day "assault bag" (i have a video planned for) and a newer design might already be in use today.
The Hyena daysack, also known as the 3-day assault/grab bag is very popular as well, and a lot more affordable to! So i will shoot a video about that soon as well.
Hope that i didn't miss anything, the video almost got up to 20 minutes, but nonetheless i hope you will enjoy the review.
    Thanks for tuning in today!
    🖖😎

Nice pack, I like it! All my packs are leftovers from days gone by. External frames. Of course I have a small knapsack for urban use too. I like having molle points but use them less often these days.

Yeah i watched a "bug out ruck" video of yours a few weeks ago, good condition packs you had!
I like this sturdy back from this pack to, it's not an external frame, but i like this to, less sweaty for starters, then my other Highlander 40Ltr.
MOLLE is great but i also even take my side-pouches of for a 2 night out, 60Ltr i find can be plenty for a weekend out.
Thanks for watching Mike! ATB 🖖😎

Thanks so much for watching the full video! (this is fairly unique according to my TH-cam analytics)
Thought i switch that around for the fun of it, so not walking towards the cam, but use the running away in stead 😉
      Have a nice day

The weird strapps inside are there to secure the radio.
The bagpack is just 1 part of the system. The other parts are the combat belt, and a 9 ltr patrolbag to attach to the 35 ltr.

To secure a radio! that makes perfect sense, i was thinking a helmet is kind of a weird fit, an ammo box was all i could think of.
I know the raptor 3 is part of the plate carrier with ELBIT com systems, a nice system that can configure itself using network components it finds in reach.
My guess is this is for teh longer range coms specialist a squad can have.
Thanks for letting me know, i love little facts like that, also thanks for watching and your comment Ruddy
