Congratulations!!! I’ve failed the LCSW exam twice with 1 attempt left. So not motivated but after reading your comment, I guess I’ll keep going until I pass. Again, congratulations🙌🏾
@@2cshanno don’t give up hope. Focus on the areas you didn’t do so well in. Practice questions, practice questions, practice questions. I would listen to Agents of Change while getting ready for work in the morning, on my way to work and back home. You got this!!!
I absolutely agree on D as well. We have been trained as SWs that when a parent neglects a "child" regardless of the age as Megan continues to say "we don't know the age of the child" the question clearly says twice ....child, our duty as mandated reporters is to appropriately contact CPS. Yes we can also consult with the nurse to administer the child but the most appropriate is to contact CPS....the parents prolonged on the child's condition and now endures pain and has become infected. I really don't agree with Megan's answer, it is what a person would do, but as Social Workers we are mandated reporters. This is what I'm afraid to encounter in the exam....these tricky questions ugggghhhhhh!!!
I agree with you. I also do think A is the best choice considering that the parents are aware of the child’s situation but are dismissive even as the child cries in pain.
I understand what you're saying but I agree with A. If we can avoid CPS and still get the child taken care of, that's the best option. Sometimes all it takes is parents knowing that the school is watching the situation.
Explaining question 2 felt way off. You are attempting to get FUNDING for the project, not trying to get BUY IN from the community. Most funding resources WOULD need an evidence-based presentation to provide funding for a project.
Yup!!! And your real world experience will actually hinder your ability to succeed on this test!😊 We’re just supposed to memorize one group’s opinion and look at these complex human interactions from a minutely narrow lens! 🌈
@@ashajeremiahqw8775 I agree. I realized from myself and peers, if you had at least 2 yrs doing this, most times your first instinct is right. But we start to second guess, which is why I got 2/3 wrong 😬.
This question is poorly written. It absolutely should be D. Based on the scenario, the skin condition is worse, so it's been on ongoing issue. The parents are dismissive and have not had the condition treated. The child is in pain and crying. At this point, we don't need a nurse's intervention because the scenario has already told us it's a progressed skin condition that hasn't been treated and the parents aren't concerned despite the child's pain. Calling the parents is redundant.
Good morning!
I passed my LCSW exam on yesterday after four failed attempts. I purchased your study program and it helped tremendously. Thanks!!!

2/3 correct. I would like another 'hardest q's' video if possible by Monday lol
I chose D because the family is dismissive about the child's concerns. If they are dismissive, then I consider that neglect.
I agree!

Yay, i got them all right! Im getting better at breaking down what the questions are asking
Thank you. Please provide more hard questions surrounding the Code of Ethics.
awesome!!!!!! we need research questions!!
For question #3, it mentions "over the past week", I thought that meant at least 7 days or more, meaning it would be answer B
0
That got me too, I thought hypomanic episodes are limited to 4 days
nevermind criteria is AT LEAST 4 days
2/3 i thought we had to addresse cultural first
Question 1 i really feel like is D
