말레이시아 여행 6화- 영국으로부터 독립을 기념하는 므르데카 광장은 우리 광화문 광장같은 곳이예요.

Dataran Merdeka or Merdeka Square is undoubtedly KL’s best known landmark. Also called Dataran Merdeka, it is set in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building (the former State Secretariat).
Directly in front is the Royal Selangor Club and to the north is St. Mary’s Church, one of Malaysia’s oldest Anglican churches

므르데카 광장은 말레이시아 쿠알라룸푸르에 있는 광장이다. 술탄 압둘 사마드 빌딩 앞에 위치해있으며 1957년 8월 31일 자정 말레이시아의 독립이 선포되고 광장의 국기 게양대에 걸려있던 유니언 잭을 끌어내리고 잘루르 그밀랑을 게양한 광장이다
