Hey Gav. Thanks for posting all the great videos. I was wondering if the UBCO battery is sealed from water. Does the battery get wet during river crossings, and if so, how does it affect the performance. Also, I assume the hub motors are sealed. Is that correct? Thanks. - Larry
Thanks I'll get around to posting more soon,so the ubcos battery assembly thing is actually very well sealed from water.. impressively!, one of the 1st gen bikes hub motor did eventually let some water in after a ridiculous amount of miles and a crash or 3😂 ..ran fine but with a warning on the display ,we opened the hub with an Allen key, drained the water,re sealed with rtv and out went the light ,tbh I haven't been hanging out with dirtebikers that much recently but I do keep in touch and have heard no such problems with the 2nd gen bikes which are the only ones available I think?😎👍
Is that thing really strong enough to take you up large steep hills? How long does that battery last? Cool video the 2wh drive must be really helpful. If cost isn't to bad that would be great for a commute to work here in town.
Thanks ,ye the 2x2 is awesome it even pulls thru soft sand on the beach ..if you can balance😂these batteries I think have managed 120km going easy ,commuting etc on flat terrain, but apparently will still give 80km range messing around off road ,check out dirtebikers on Instagram if you're based in algarve😎✌
Sweet upload. That bike is like a loyal pony. Reliable, tough and smart.
Looks like so much fun. Would love to try some e-bike off-road driving!
What an awesome day....Cannot wait to try this next month😊
Cool!
