Agreed. Although PC doesn't talk about N word openly in India. I remember she was too diplomatic in answering when the initial Nepotism debate sparked.
The difference between Priyanka's comment on nepotism and Kangana's is approach. Priyanka was diplomatic without igniting controversy. Kangana does it to get a reaction out of people.
"Opportunity strikes when you don't expect it. The smarter thing to do is to recognise opportunity than work so hard trying to create it". Thats some real words.
Priyanka is so articulate! I appreciate the fact that whenever she speaks about India she takes a positive spin while at the same time acknowledging the social problems that the country faces.
I am bewildered by the hatred she faces from some of us, but Priyanka, those who love you far far outnumber the haters. More power to you.
If u notice, Indian media totally ignored this summit. Since it isn't fake news about her marriage. There has always been hate politics against PC through the media and Bollywood. If this was kangana who is equally articulate or deepika, not so much. It will be everywhere and her defense of India will make news. If there was anything slightly negatively towards India by PC , it would have been viral.
What I really like about Priyanka Chopra Jonas words is the fact that whatever she speaks it has deep meaning to it and the way she says it shows she believes in what she is saying rather just saying for the sake to be present at the stage.

Priyanka will single handedly change the way American cinema and TV stereotypes Indians. Indian origin/Indian actors will no more be forced to paint themselves dark, speak in a pronounced certain type of accent they want, and behave in a way the producers want - all of which is vastly disconnected to reality. You just cant put 1.3 billion with more than 144 languages, even more diverse cultures, food, traditions into 1 category. No wonder West doesnt get India, its too much of a task to decipher...deciphering India is like deciphering entire world. Even colonial Britishers couldnt do that in 150yrs of their brutal rule, all they could do was mass massacre those they couldnt understand.
