The fact that bhumi is the typical south mumbai girl in real life makes it all the more impressive that she plays small town girls so convincingly. I recently rewatched dum lagake haisha and it was so refreshing. It's easy for a small-town girl to play a high society rich girl, but its more difficult for someone who actually comes from privilege, to come out of the bubble and bring out that innocence and humility of the characters in dum laga ke, or shubh mangal etc, on screen.
This is just the kind of content I want to see actors be a part of. They're talking about their work, their experiences and journey along their professional life. This kind of content is helpful to understand the world of acting - it's boons and banes. For anyone interested in joining this industry, this kind of content would be much appreciated. This is not the case with many other actors, who just get away with talking gibberish and zero relevance to the question asked.
