Ahhh, seeing those single AMRAAMs on the wings makes me yearn for the days where we didn't need to mount ugly double launcher racks just to mount 1 AMRAAM.

7 Seasons of buildup to this plotline and in a mere 34 minutes the great threat of the north was defeated. Massive disappointment, hopefully at least the Lannister Airforce puts up a proper fight.

Just another day at the office Ralfi? Great team work between you and the AWACS/GCI. Don't see a lot of it on other vlogs. Wish you'd put more content out like at the start of your vlogs though. Your calm decanter and relaxing effortless while preforming needed functions plus awareness to the situations you encounter have become more defined and fluid since your beginning of DCS. Keep it up Sir.

@@ralfidude Being a disabled old fart me self and unable to save for new joy and throttle set-up since mine took a dump on me. Watching your vlogs are what helped me when I got started with DCS. And take it from an old man here. You are worthy of me praise having watched you grow into and make the plane become one with you. Sometimes a goof off or oopsie but, all in all a lot fun and good times. ( And I love those control vlogs you do. )

No, that missile was done for when it lost track and wasn't going to re-acquire lock. I saw it fly past but I knew it was a non threat so I just let it go.

Last time I was this early, DCS was in 1.5 and I still hadn't figured out how to add NAV data from the data cartridge into the Viggen's NAV computer!! Speaking of which, any chances of a Viggen video some time in the future Ralfi if you fly that much still?

Hey Ralfi not that it matters but just in case your curious the navy does overhead breaks at the same time. There is no delay between the lead and trail aircraft. They create the spacing necessary by having the trail aircraft simply do a wider turn on the break.
At least the Viggen beats the Hornet when it comes to landings !
Hey Ralfi? I'm a sort of newcomer but I've been loving all your stuff especially the Shits and Giggles stuff. I've been really wanting to get into DCS again, I was a huge Falcon 4.0 fan and I adored Flaming Cliffs 2.5. I would mainly like to ask, what's a good starting module? I have my eyes set on the F-14 as it's genuinely my favorite plane of all time but I know some modules tend to be quite unfriendly to newcomers. I still need to get Track IR but I really want to get back into these sims again. Thanks.
That's a tough question, since the F-14 is fun as hell, but can be daunting without a human RIO. If you want something easy but still entertaining to fly, then FC3 is typically a good starting point. Then you can move on to a full DCS module that you want to fly.

Does anyone know of any good groups to join to get on this level of fidelity? I've been using DCS for a little over 3 years now play online occasionally on random server, however I've yet to learn some of the communication noted in the video between Rali and his flight of 3.
hoggit is a good place to start from reddit. Read up on brevity codes for the air force, that explains everything. That's how the rest of us learned. Start matching some of those words to what you hear us say in these videos.

@@DarthVapor151 for a brief moment it said AACQ on HUD which is auto acquisition mode of sort in manual.
@@DarthVapor151 Found it.. once you select a weapon, press sensor control switch Right.. it will autolock the first target that appears on radar.
