- Here's part 3 of me answering a bunch of questions about my Mario Maker 2 Rejected Updates series, as well as other questions like my favorite trailer, how I made various scenes, and lots of other questions

Rejected update: undo dog! You can put undo dog in your level and when Mario touches him, the entire level goes back 5 seconds! (Batteries not included)
Or the reset Rocket, if you touch it, the level will delete it and you will never complete the level.
Or the Course Bot ,if you touch it ,you immediately go to the Course Upload menu! Provided that you saved the level beforehand.

@@Deadchannel312 The reset rocket destroys everything except Undodog so if you have them in the level you can touch undodog to bring the level back

Rejected Update: A Palette Editor to add a little aesthetic variety to our levels because we can be totally trusted not to use such a garish combination of colors.

Rejected Update: We've heard of how limiting the object variety in Super Worlds can be, so we're letting you add ANY level creator item into your Super Worlds! Now you can have 3 Bowsers on your Super World that can't be dodged since you have no way to jump! Or how about unreachable dev blocks that take you to other worlds! Or even Super Subworlds- oh wait, that actually sounds cool
Rejected Updates:
- Edit the code: You can now edit the code and we give no restrictions! You can even make a block that blows your switch up or deletes your account!
- Endless mode update: When you now play endless mode, there is no pause between levels! It just continues and you have to finish all levels ever created in one run!
- Surprise block: Place these blocks and once you play the level, they will get turned into a random course element!

the thing with endless mode is that it sounds very cool and would make a great update... terrible for this series

rejected update: we’ve shown off the angry sun, moon, planet, and now the star! so now we’re unveiling the angry ufo! it’ll fly around and shoot beams down at you and since alien technologies are so more advanced than ours, it’s so good it’s literally impossible to miss! just think of the possibilities.
Rejected update: A paper mario mode where whenever you touch an enemy you go into a battle against all the enemies in the level
Enemy spam Little Timmy levels are going to be FUN

Rejected update: shattered clear pipe. Imagine going up a normal clear pipe when you fall in a random spot and die to the open glass
Rejected update: Chance Time Block!
Hit the blocks to either dash forward or start over!
Rejected update idea: you can only play the game at the most inconvenient times (ie. Work, school, etc)
Maybe the logic could be that those are the times you're most likely to sit around bored after you've done everything
You have to do it otherwise mario will come for you

Rejected Update: We all know how level's are some times just to short, so we've added, the slow timer, it looks like a clock, and when you pick it up, all time slows way down, even real time slows down!
Rejected Update: Some people have gotten explosives inside of their switch, and the dargonite can’t protect that. So when you play Super Mario Maker 2, the insides of your switch will be blocked by dargonite! Now no explosives can enter your switch.
How about people just not play the game at this point
Rejected update: The glitch mushroom. When Mario gets it, the whole level gets buggy and glitchy.
Reject Update: Barrier block that are invisible but you can't get trough just like in minecraft
rejected update: little timmy, a new character replacing any of them. he has yellow hair, a red shirt, blue pants and darker blue shoes. when you die as timmy, it earrapes you with him crying
Unfair: Lakitus zap you with their lightning when you go under them, and when you take their cloud, instead of it disappearing after a bit, another Lakitu will bounce back up from inside the cloud, head-butting you and sending you flying
Rejected Update: When we thought about adding Combining Enemies with each other, We thought about GBoard's emoji kitchen, so now you got your very own version of Emoji Kitchen in Mario Maker! Just go to the Enemy Kitchen to make your own custom enemies, and they'll appear in a new palate for you to play with!*
*Combining Results are not yet supported. Enemy Variations Can Be Combined. It seems to be a cool idea, so it's better off not being in a video. But, there's some parts that may be abused, like hammer thowps and not to mention the classic, HAMMER BROWSER THAT THROWS HAMMERS LIKE THE SMB BROWSER DOES. the limits on custom enemies aren't there yet, so prepare to face off against a countless number of custom enemies in Little Tommy Levels.

Rejected update: bring back the start over and exit button but add a new button called the non escape button which would disconnect the start over button,exit button,home button and power button
and the start over and escape of course
Rejected Update: The Chaos bros. They run around throwing hammers, fire, boomerang, and/or ice. Also, you can put 4 enemies as the objects. If you put 3 enemies, They will throw Fire. If you put 2 enemies, They will throw Fire and ice. If you put 1 enemy, They will throw just that enemy.
I would love seeing more of the dark souls mode or the combined enemies. Imagine all possibilities for example a dark souls hammer bro who trows every proyectile in the game
For the DGR collab, did you have to actually code the features into the game for a genuine reaction? Also rejected update idea: Block Doors! They look exactly like ground blocks, but if you ground pound on them or jump under them, they open up, letting you through. You have no way of knowing what block could be a door. You can finally make that hilarious level where it seems to be impossible, but there's a hidden passage!
Rejected update:the final smash block if any enmity touches it a cutscene plays after that you die
Rejected update: Karen powerup, you can call the manager which puts you on an actual call with the current president of Nintendo

Rejected update: every time you get a #DGR level you lose a life
Rejected update: going into a pipe sends you back to beginning of level
when you record the "Little Timmy" levels or the Unfair troll stages do you play real levels made by other people or do you build a level your self?
Rejected update: add different paced creeper creeks, purple normal speed, (obviously) red medium speed, and yellow fast speed. Hope you put this in your next rejected updates video!
Question: What has been the hardest thing for you to animate?
Rejected update: titan mushroom you turn so big that you can’t even see the stage
Rejected update: falling ceiling fan!
When you are about to finish a level a ceiling fan falls from nowhere.
Many hours of fun!
Rejected update: thunderstorm mode where lightning strikes and instantly destroys random things (it’s impossible to predict, dodge, or facetank).
Rejected update: Randomizer mode!
Every 5 seconds something happens to either enemies, player, stage, or console like;
Enemies could multiply
Player could get squished by thwomp
Stage could disappear
Your console could die
Rejected Update:
Story Mode update: After the events of Story Mode, Mario and Peach grow up and live happily ever after.
Rejected update #18: Slow snake blocks! They are slower than green snake blocks.
Rejected Update: The Negative Coin! When collected, it decreases your coin count and kills you if you hit 100 Negative Coins, like when you collect 100 normal Coins, you gain a life.
Reminds me of the Rupoors from Phantom Hourglass...
Also, I have a suggestion for a new video series: Actually Good Updates, which would contain things that would help creators with their levels.
For instance:
Redo Cat, which simply acts as the redo function in many programs, while also being the companion of Undo Dog.
Clipboard tool that makes copying easier.
Fill tool that fills areas with ground, hard blocks, or brick blocks.
Or maybe some more out-there ideas like an automatic coin adder, which will detect where you move in your playtest and adds coins before upload.

How did you make the Boo Ring Rings in Rejected Update video 17 ?
Rejected update idea : make it so the switch does not run out of battery because I keep on losing my progress
Rejected updates:
Thowmp car! We know how much you love making thowmp cars, but now, we are making a car made of thowmps! You might take some damage every two seconds, but it is totally worth it to drive around in a thowmp! Also coming with the alternative form in 3D world: Car thowmp! They are thowmps, that are made of koopa cars! They might have some gas leaks that stain your switch, with no way of cleaning it, but it would be so fun to not see anything!
Rejected Update: A Portal Clear Pipe When You Go Into It Whenever Go Out Of It you tp to a Random Spot/Void. (SM3DW)
Rejected update:the eraser a playable charter once you play as it or press it your level will be erased
Behind The Scenes: Drowning [Realistic Mario Maker 2 2.0]
Rejected Update: A Magician hat power-up. When Mario grabs it, he’ll start doing magic tricks at random times.
Dude idea, you've seen the thwomp go on th x, y, and z axis now watch as it goes on the w axis, that's right now the thwomp can go in the fourth dimension and reappear on the player. :)
Rejected Update
Dream Powerup: When used, you will turn into dream and have to speedrun the level, while being chased by 3 other people.
New power up
Beast Burger: you become famous and get chased by all enemies since your so popular
Rejected Idea: Sonic Sneakers! You run very fast, but you can't control it! Super fun!

@@DannyBPlays Rejected update: Even if your Nintendo Switch is unbreakable, inserting or removing an SD card may force you to restart your Nintendo Switch, which interrupts your gameplay and wastes time. When you play Mario Maker 2, there’s no way to insert or remove an SD card.

Realistic: Remove the ability to alter your trajectory in mid-air. This means no jumping onto a solid object above you, or being able to stop in mid-air. To be able to alter your trajectory in midair, you'd have to be pushing off something. Birds, airplanes, gliders, etc. all push off the air, so you can only do this with the Flying Squirrel suit (which can only stop you).
question: how did you make the thumbnail for the Mario Maker 2 Parody Game Trailer Compilation
Rejected Update: Custom power ups, like changing the fire flower to a demonic version and make the flower shot a lot faster, or something like that
Rejected update: rickroll sound effect. A sound effect that kills you, and put on never gonna give you up, and you have to watch the hole video.
Rejected: Snakitu (snake lakitu)

rejected update: a villager enemy, it looks like a enemy but it is a villager if mario touches it mario can trade with it.

I’m curious how you look when squished in “LIVE INSIDE your Hot Garbage Levels” without the thwomp obscuring it, because that caught me by surprise and I found it hysterical
Rejected update: Super slow snake block, now you can wait 5 hours to get to your destination!

Rejected Update: Bomberman powerup. You can place bombs that explode in a cross shape, but you can't jump. At all.

Rejected updates 18: the new Rage power up makes Mario so mad then it zooms out to the whole level or the whole earth or the milky way Galaxy or the whole universe.
Rejected Update: Add a pumpkin power-up! Turns you into a pmpkin and you can't fall more than 3 pixels without breaking, AKA dying and can't be on a slope without sliding.
Rejected update:Sniper P Switch.Makes everything sniper.

If it’s a rejected update that was rejected to being a reverted update, isn’t it a rejected-rejected Update?
Question: How did you make the reverse see-saw from rejected update 17?
Rejected update:Monkey Mario.Mario can turn into a monkey and goes nuts.So if Mario gets the power up in multiplayer.Your screwed.
Ability’s:
1.Fast as turbo block
2.Kills bowser instantly
3.You may fly
4.Monkey can delete anything from a level asap.
And note this only works for mario

Gold ring! It turns Mario in to sonic, he runs 2x the max speed and may split the flag if too fast like 30% speed
rejected update: Lego level theme! and just like actual legos, the ground itself hurts to walk on!

Rejected update: Autoscroll switches. Blocks and/or switches that can change the current autoscroll state with just a hit.
Rejected update: skilled goonbas- they look like a normal gonna until you get near them. They dodge all of your attacks and stomp on you!
How did you do the idea that says 1-1 Remake in Rejected Updates #3?

Rejected update: Destructive hammer bros. They throw hammers that destroy blocks that they touch. Destructive fire bros shoot fireballs that melt blocks.
Rejected update: POW bomb! When Mario touches pow bomb, an explosion will defeat all enemies onscreen
Rejected update: Kirby and mario! (Kirby is a boss battle if you want)
