They are for sure bizarre, but I wouldn't say it was laziness so much as insanity. Maybe it was sleep-deprivation-induced insanity! There is clearly a reason why those parts of the stepchart were designed that way (especially with how purposefully designed the surrounding sections of it are), but what that reason is, I cannot say. One other weird thing I noticed about this chart is that every time a certain loud beep-like noise occurs in the song, there will be a hold which matches it, but the holds are always placed directly in the middle of already complete step patterns so it's like they are just randomly thrown at you. Again, there is clearly a logic to it, but I can only guess at what that logic is. It's almost beautiful, in a way... utopian? Yes my comment is cringey and I'm sorry
i think when you got 2 or 3e on this song with your home pad however many years ago, was slightly more impressive than the quad at this point in time :P amazing job none the less. been enjoying your vids
I disagree, this chart is similar to charts like sweet world and go 60 go, by way of strange timings and offbeat movements, I think this is quite an impressive performance.

It seems like a very intentional design choice tbh, you'd have to be trying to chart something like that.
Apparently the reason for 0:50 is because Chris only had one working speaker and couldn't hear the song accurately.
