I would not go that far, but they certainly are up there at the top of this list with other greats. And their song writing is off the charts. They could have made a fortune just from that! To get super rich you need to write your own songs, GOOD songs. And they certainly did that. And their harmonies are so good. And of course Barry’s movie star good looks didn’t hurt anything. But they could have succeeded just on their writing even if Barry did not look like a Greek God.
My God, Susan & Ellen....get a f'ing clue! As the other comment stated, it's called ad-libbing, not to mention this was not long after his back surgery. I'm sure those parts of the song the brothers wrote for Barry's falsetto, but I would imagine it was painful to do.
