This was unbelievable. The Bee Gees were so talented. I definitely liked their material from the '60s better than their '70s material. That being said, I still loved it all. Rest in peace Robin and Maurice. This performance here gave me chills.
The thing about the Bee Gees is that they were brothers and their voices were very similar genetically, so when they sang together there is this magic that many others could never even hope to capture.
there's a term that describes that phenomenon... you hear it in the everly brothers, the isley brothers, and of course the bee gees. it's called 'blood harmony.' which describes the sound of voices that originate from the same sources. ts
Take that all you Bee Gees haters. The close harmonies and Beatles standards thrown in. It's not all Disco and Saturday Night Fever, there's all the other music they wrote as well. Not everyone can be ground breakers, some just give us memorable songs to sing.
I'm sorry, but this has to be the best interpretation of these songs performed by ANY artist or band since the recorded or live versions were ever played by the Beatles themselves. The Bee Gees doing this performance of these songs at this time was totally unprecedented. These 3 guys had some serious, seriously scary talent. Superb performance.
I had never seen this before and it’s fantastic. Nothing like sibling harmony. They cover the Beatles like no other. Always loved the Bee Gees, especially the love they had for each other. I feel so bad for Barry, losing 3 of his brothers now. I hope he’ll keep on singing to keep carrying on their legacy.
