  • In this tutorial, I'll show you how to convert a 5-wire servo into a 3-wire to use the standard servo gear box, as well as wire the factory battery box to the ESC.

I used rubber bands on the og x-mod instead of the clips for a weight reduction, and also got rid of all the suspension springs and used rubber bands instead. It definitely made it lighter

There are way easier ways to do this. For starters get a flysky noble nb4. Next grab the miniZ receiver that’s afhds3 compatible. It’s half the size of the receiver you used.

Dunno if i did somethin wrong however I am using a 2s lipo as a test pack. I have soldered the servo board correctly, however no matter which way I have the two wires it either full locks to the right or left. No in between.

What remote control do you use? I'm having an issue with both my xmods where they both like to steer to the left, and it locks into place. This looks like an easy mod to do. I only have one remote control since they're both band 1. I think the issue is the remote control, if I figure out what control you use I might do this.

I just use a cheap multichannel Skyfly remote from Amazon. Then that reciever connects to the other components in the video.
