As much as I hate this season tho- if you break it down it’s pretty good it just needed a rewrite imo. This is a compilation of the moment from Total Drama All Stars I though where well written, funny, or interesting. I’m picking out the good stuff that I liked!

Two: I think 2023 island is also a hallucination, as he was still in jail One time. The fact with lightning and Duncan being mentioned makes sense, cuz I believe one of the season's would feature the cast from past seasons.

Let's take a moment to realize that Mike feels alone without his other personalities- kinda sad
He, he was living in a world he didn't recognize and now he knows they're gone forever
and then he says "will i miss talking to my other personalities" like they weren't a PART of him and then says "maybe. then again, maybe not."

Keep in mind Alejandro hates being called Al, so imagine how infuriating that name would be
the biggest flaw to me is how they screwed up the characters of Duncan and Courtney specifically. they had other ones too like Scott and Gwen couldve been handled better. i was just so angry how they decided to use Duncan >:(
Duncan and Courtney were already bad since action in my opinion
Duncan was good in island and action but in world tour his character got screwed up abit his cameos in revenge of the island were pretty good but in all stars he was screwed over entirely

I actually liked Duncan. He was still a bad boy and I loved his nice moments; he's always had them, even in his debut. Duncan's character was fine outside of his interactions with Courtney. If he was supposed to be nicer, why would he do Gwen like that? The writers were very inconsistent with this.

also the heather and alejandro interactions have so much sexual tension and funny moments

Despite all the flaws in this season, I found All Stars pretty interesting, especially with the introduction of Mal and seeing the gen 1 cast meeting the gen 2 cast
I just wish gen 1 and gen 2 interacted more

Yea , but gen 1 and gen 2 BARELY interacted . Other then heather and jo ( jo got eliminated very early ) scottney ( which was like one of the worst ships ) , and alejandro and mal they didnt really interact . In fact , alejandro and mal is barely an interaction it was more like the best villain trying to defeat the worst villain but the writers had to weaken everyone so uh yeah .

i would absolutely love mal if he was written better. either go the actually competent villain route or the edgy little shit who thinks he's a villain but he's just a fucked up persecutor route
the latter option could actually dive into mike's trauma and why he developed DID in the first place, deepening his character
maybe certain alters of his formed from different aspects of his childhood, with mike himself being the system's host
@@nohintshereyessss, honestly I’d love to see a fan rewritten version of this season with a bit more DID knowledge and generally more competent writing. I really liked this season when i first watched it, but it was the first season i ever watched so i didn’t have much to go by.
@@nohintshere Actually, it can go from the latter to the former. Much like "the Spot" journey where his capability of malice just grows larger and larger. Plus, just change his motivation to a more deep one say like where Mike developed Mal out of trauma and defense from any social torment due to having DID. As Mal remerges, his goal is to use the prize money in any form to have any capability to exact any form of revenge who torment or has tormented him.
Dude I swear I would love Mal as a character if they didn’t abuse the hell out of his plot armor. Making Alejandro your b!+ch by just plot armor is dumb. You said it perfectly bro.
All stars was the first season I watched so I’ve never been able to dislike it lmao

All I remember was watching the blue moon challenge and wondering the whole time why "the handstand guy" was walking on his hands
All-Stars was my first season and I enjoyed it when I was 8, but that's because I had no prior context of who these characters were beforehand, so I had no knowledge of them being derailed. I've never been able to like it since.

I have... _Incredibly_ mixed feelings for this season. On one hand, i can see why people dislike it. I mean, some of, if not _all_ of the characters are far more dumb compared to their older seasons. Come on, Heather hiding that immunity idol instead of just taking it was mornoic, and Alejandro was kind of weak too.
But on the other hand, All Stars was (sadly?) the first season i ever watched of Total Drama. I got into the show pretty late, and the only season on Netflix was All Stars by the time i watched it. So for that reason, i have a soft spot for it.
And i surprisingly guessed some things happening in it?
The few characters i knew from Total Drama were Gwen, Izzy, Courtney, Heather and Owen, and i _really_ wanted Izzy to appear in All Stars. So when i saw the robot/Drama Machine, i kept saying "Izzy's in the robot, Izzy's in the robot!" and... I was half right. There _was_ someone in the Drama Machine.
Then, in the fighting episode, i guessed Izzy being in the spider costume. My parents were concerned about my squealing.
Finally, Heather tricking Alejandro into her being affected by the blue moon. As soon as she fake changed, i was already invested in the episode. (It's literally my favourite episode from the whole season, and i re-watch every now and then.)
Oh, and Lightning saying "The Effiel Tower? I must be in Germany!" made me laugh _so_ hard.
And Mal had so much wasted potential. Seriously.

I think if they lean more into Mal being more subtle and causing the villains to focus on fighting each other the season would be better.
Example have Mal steal the idol from Heather and give it to Alejandro.
Have the villains blame each other for stealing their stuff preferably Scott since he did that in Revenge.
Have Gwen and Duncan break up due to Duncan believing Mike is Mal drawing a parallel to her relationship with Trent.
Have Mal create the list Courtney has and frame it as hers. etc.
Well at least we all hate Mal...he is my least favorite personality....
I wish there were Aftermath episodes so both casts can meet. I wish Trent was back so Mal can break his guitar

Then a good twist would be Alejandro, Scott and Duncan team up to warn everyone else about Mal but no one believes them because seriously who would after all they have done?
Oh and a bigger cast and plesse 26 episodes or more.

Heroes vs villains started all stars on a high note such a great first episode
Total Drama All Stars is an atrocious season of television and I wish it had never been made.
That being said, I love Total Drama All Stars. I am obsessed with it. I loathe it with every fiber of my being, yet have watched it countless times and plan to watch it countless times more. Mal, an objectively awful character who is easily the season’s biggest problem, is one of my favorite characters in the entire show, and maybe of all time.
I barely even know why I feel this way. Why. Why have I devoted so much of my life to being obsessed with Total Drama All Stars? What is it about this awful season that makes me so enamored by it?
I don’t know man. Total Drama All Stars will be constantly playing in the background of both Heaven and Hell. It is everything great and awful about the medium of television, and maybe humanity as a whole. A true enigma of a show.
DUDE PLEASE I FELT THIS SO MUCH MAL IS MY FAV AND I HATE HIS LINES THEY ARE CRINGE. Okay but I think the problem is that it would’ve been such a masterpiece if they didn’t rush through it. There are some hidden gems of jokes in here and great plot ideas but the EXECUTION is what is so bad. I think I watch it over and over because the potential is there. I just wish they worked on it a little more before letting this garbage heap out…. 😅🥲

My only issue with the season is how Courtney was treated in the end. She’s another one of my favs and they tried to give her a redemption arc but then threw it out the window in the stupidest way possible and… UGH! I HATE IT SM!

Allstars had potential to be great. I think it’s biggest blunder was not exploring duncan and mal’s past. Duncan literally gets the boot 1 episode after he mentions it to zoey.
