Alright, I'm gonna speak facts know:
Shawn and Jasmine are PERFECT for each other, mainly because they don't judge each other for how they are. Sure, they did disagree on a few things (like Jasmine's flower shop idea, which is awesome, and Shawn's zombie obsession), but they genuinely care about each other, and are willing to accept and actually like each other for their flaws, weird obsessions and differences.
So yeah, I think we all need a love like Shawn and Jasmine's
It's actually good they disagreed on things, at least they weren't too perfect like some couples

@@Du-yw1pz all the total drama characters are based off teen stereotypes. The difference is that Pakithews characters are moreso references to random stuff or just too similar to other characters. The good/evil twin thing couldve worked but they just did that SO POORLY. The season really shouldve had 26 episodes and maybe a bigger cast like in Island

I just realized that Shaun's hand bursting out the ground was maybe a reference to PvZ'.
A 'zombie hand bursting out of the ground' is a very common zombies trope in cinema. From what I can find, the earliest example is actually from the 1960s film 'The Brides of Dracula' (not quite a zombie, but the imagery is there). The holding of a flower, however, does seem to be unique to PvZ. Whether or not it's an influence, only the writers can say.

They were certainly the only good couple from this...odd season....though also a most unusual couple: Jasmine, the 7ft tall Amazonian Australian girl who was the leader of her team, and Shaun, the nut job who is obsessed with the possibility of a zombie apocalypse. But they did have quite a lot in common and respected/learned to love the quirks and weird things from each other.
Would be sweet seeing a flower shop/cage fighting business, that why Jasmine was so awesome & somewhat terrifying at the same time.
Also, because it's Shaun, she never has to worry about that shop getting robbed because it'll be the most tightly secured store on the American Continent.
And if for whatever reason a zombie apocalypse DOES happen I reckon a flower shop will be a pretty convenient place to start growing crops for an indefinite food source. A nice middle ground, honestly.
True they were the only good things in the season. I like Ella but these two made it tolerable. Everyone else pretty much sucked 😔

in my opinion shawn and jasmine were good but they had moments when they were annoying ella was pretty good sky was good but slightly got derailed in the last few eps sammy was kinda bland til she got revenge on amy but shes pretty good topher was pretty good i liked max a little bit beardo was ok but he had potential leonard had one or two funny moments but he was annoying sugar had funny moments but she was annoying and disqusting and cruel to ella for no reason scarlett was kinda boring at first til she had one of the foreshadowings that made her more intresting then scarlett fever ruined it rodney was annoying i didn't like him he kept fallin in love with every girl on his team i really liked dave til the merge then he got so terrible but i still like him just not his merge self

I really want to try giving the newer seasons a chance, but I just can't get over how cringy the characters are. There is something truly fascinating and entertaining about the OG contestants from the first season that makes it hard to enjoy the newer seasons. But Jasmine and Shawn are so cute! I might just watch season 5 just to see them.
I would watch Pahkitew Island just for Jasmine and Shawn.

As someone who once fell for a tall (6'4) beautiful Australian woman once (even simped for her, yes I did) I really like this a lot.

i just finished watching this season and i was so happy when i saw shawn and jasmine win. but it was so funny in the finale that even when jasmine was FURIOUS at shawn and dave aswell at skye, jasmine still cared about shawn and dave was just so hqppy about people getting hurt and just getting the money

It's crazy to remember that Pahkiteh aired during the week of my sixteenth birthday. After the absolute disappointment of All Stars, I actually really enjoyed this half of season five. Shawn and Jasmine are literally the main reason. I was even gifted fanart of them by a mutual of mine on tumblr for my birthday. I also had all the episodes on my computer. Tbh, Pahkiteh is still in my top three Total Drama seasons. We'll ignore the first half of season five.

I like to think that afterwards they moved in together and that then Sammy, finally having had enough of always being compared to Amy, called and asked Jasmine if she could stay with them for a bit and then moved in with the couple and then helped Shawn help Jasmine to open the flower/shop cage fighting school - Shawn should definitely be on board for cage fighting school bit because if the zombies do come then people need to know how to fight in as many ways as possible, plus a healthy garden should keep people aware of the soil in case the zombies rise up. I see Shawn and Jasmine running the shop/school together and Sammy getting a job with them organising appointments for cage fighting classes and working behind the counter selling and ordering flowers.
