If all things went well for India (realistically).
1 Partition happens properly & systematically, with full 100% population exchange.
    2 Patel becomes 1st PM.
3 India sends Indian army & annex full Kashmir instead of going to UN & losing face.
4 India now has direct access to central Asia.
5 India does not support China's annexation of Tibet & Tibet remains a separate Nation.
    6. India accepts UNSC permeant seat when offered by USA & USSR.
    7. Mass industrialization & capitalist economy resembling China of our timeline.
    8. New super power by 2000.

@@ReldrikGeoit is like in 1947 british left/kicked out from india. Since goa was very small it wasn't much effected since it have nothing to do with british raj and famine. It acted like a Portuguese embassy. Like how the part of france in south america part of french country, not a colony.
Also india was busy stabilizing the mess created by british they don't wanna go to another war.
During 1960 when UN asked them to give freedom to their lands outside Portugal, they said 'Na', which piss off india because they were in peace talk with portugal to give them back the goa. So India Warned them to leave or get ready for a war in 1961, since by that time Portugal was not as strong as India, so they said you can have the land but if people wanna join us we would allow them. Thats why people of Portuguese colonies in India born before 1961 and their 2 generation can get default citizenship of Portugal if they wanted

@@felidaebi6239they actually did have a war but it only lasted 2 days or something
It started when Portuguese soldiers fired on a Indian vessel, killing one person
India then sent it's air force, army and navy
Portugal blew up bridges to slow advance and Salazar ordered his men to go for scorched earth policy but the governor general of Portuguese India surrendered and Goa became a part of India

Personally i wont consider it as what if everything went PERFECT with India coz its potraying that everything was fine with India before British. Westerners dont have any much detailed knowledge of India before Britishers. The peak of India was during Mauryan and Gupta Empire when there was peace in the sub-continent too. During the mughals and Islamic period, estimated shows that 80-280 million people were killed by the muslim invaders and it demoralised the people and created a divide between hindus and muslims and as usual hindus were given the choice to beheaded, give jizya( a tax given my non-muslim for their protection from the rulers) or become zimmi (servants) and mostly people become zimmi so that they can survive as any other non-muslim nation. Those horrors were even terrifying than the british empire. Then came the british who were cleaver and moreover used the demoraslised people to divide and rule them and used to whitewash the indians in the name of education agaist their own people which made people disliking their own culture, traditions and civilisation. Hindus are pretty much like jews surviving Islam and Christianity. That is why there are just 3 hindu majority nation India, Nepal and Mauritius and only 1 big country India and thats also Democracy due to the Hindus. Pakistan was made on Hindu muslim divide and tried to potray itself as it is democratic but this created a lot of the problems in present day Pakistan. I mean you cant make a nation in the name of Islam and then say it has democratic and secular values. I mean the problems created by Islam and Christianity due to the concept of conversion and conquering nations is insane. Cant imagine how much of culture, traditions and things might be destroyed. At the end Of 12th Century Invader Bakhityar Khilji Demolished the Nalanda which was the first early University where students from all across Korea, Sri Lanka, Tibet, China and ofc India came to get knowledge and killed the monks and burned it. It had so much texts and knowlegle that it burned continiously for 3 months and was the most important and valueable thing we lost.
Disclaimer - This was just a general look throught an Indian perspective and doesnt meant to harm anyone's religious sentiments but humanity will always be above any religion anyday.

India was divided because of the urgency of Britain to leave India , giving basically everyone a power that they could claim their own states and land ownership for themselves , Basically Britain thought that every major King or Political figure would be greedy enough to claim a separate state for themselves and Massive internal civil war would destroy Indian hope for freedom from Britishers and they would finally intervene to colonise India again but this time with the support of local prominent figures.
Insidious plan right , and guess what that actually happened but not on a scale which Britishers contemplated or hoped .
The conflict was widely spread mainly by Jinna founder of Pakistan because he was able to unify maximum Muslim population under his own dream , most sus thing was that Jinna actually died just after 1 year of creating Pakistan.
So only Muslim majority states were separated initially Like East and West Pakistan , but Nizam of Hyderabad and King of Kashmir also got greedy and claimed separate States for themself in middle and Top of India's Map.
Every Indian is proud and eternally thankful to Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel for Unifying India because of which we see Current map of India intact today. So because of Patel , Britisher's plan to possibly capture India again , scrapped .
As per this video you reacted to seems to be a propaganda video ( maybe ) which does not meets with reality of Mega India Hypothesis.
The creator of the video seems to be a victim of common disease which compels him to put India into his western templates ,
There is vast difference between West and East which he cannot understand and I do not blame him for that because from decades they have been taught only poor things about India intentionally (maybe).
And you said rightly , Mega India would have ensured free Tibet and China would not have been dared to do things it tries today. Yes if I negate the expense of effort and resources which have been lost because of Pakistan and China's aggression to this date , I am confident that Mega India would emerged as most powerful ( maybe ) and but surely economically supreme Land today.
But still it is not too bad as per the video shown , Yes there are massive challenges but they are slowing us down to reach our full potential , which are being countered very efficiently especially after Narendra Modi came to power.

A gigantic growing muslim population would overtake Hindu population and the country would either be riddled with civil wars or it will became an islamic state (only North)
Unified India would have definitely sided with soviet union more actively because both country would share a socialist mindset resulting in Proxy wars or sanctions by the USA and west
China would not be as aggressive because Unified India would be significant threat so ... India China would most probably be friends even after Tibet annexation (India would let it happen in the name India China good relations) which means a new kind of permanent cold war would perpetually exist between India Russia China and the west

Hello Martin, I am writing this comment so that you can better understand how a unified India would form and what would it mean for the world in a manner certainly more comprehensive than that the narrator in this video explained in.
To begin, a unified India would never be possible if the leadership that spearheaded the Indian independence movement in the 40s doesn't change. Who were these leaders?
Gandhi and Nehru from Congress who advocated for a unified India and Muhammad Ali Jinnah of the Muslim League who advocated for a division based on Hindu-Muslim demographics.
Though Gandhi was equally respected by all people in the subcontinent, Nehru was generally not favored as a potential prime minister of independent India by both the common Muslims and their leaders. For the muslims Congress, especially after the resignation of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose(I will address him as Netaji for future references) from the post of party president on 29th April 1939 due to rising tensions with Gandhi, was viewed as a party more inclined to the Hindu causes than theirs.
In short, the muslims didn't trust the vision of India that Nehru, and by the 40s, even Gandhi envisioned.
No amount of concession would satisfy the Muslim league as long as Nehru stays the leader.
So for a unified India, we need one man to somehow emerge victorious as the leader, that being Netaji.
Netaji's support surpassed that of Gandhi and unlike Nehru, the Muslim leaders had strong faith in Netaji as a leader. Jinnah himself had quoted multiple times that he would only concede to a unified India only if Netaji were to be the leader of that nation (you can google it up).
So in this timeline, one way or the other Netaji emerges victorious in his military campaigns with the INA and the Japanese army in the north east(the only possible way Netaji wins is by breaking through British communication blockades and informing the masses about the INA and the fight to liberate India, inciting a country wide rebellion).
If Netaji manages to incite a rebellion in 1945, the consequences it would have on the war is tremendous.
I am going to go with the consequences that will be the best for India.
    1) The British just leave India without much fight. This is more likely to happen than you think since the British military was spread thin and they simply do not have the resources to quell a large scale rebellion.
    2) Netaji emerges as the leader of united India(modern day India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, possibly Burma later on but unlikely).
3)The Japanese do not lose Burma immediately.
    4) I am going to say India does not declare war on UK or the US, but does support the Japanese via logistics and resources, hopefully no nukes in Mumbai.
    5) The Japanese still get nuked, there is no stopping that
    6) The allies win, there is no stopping that either
    7) The allies do not declare war on India as it too much of a fight
    8) The allies definitely sanction India for at least until the 60s(Netaji not only comes to power due to the Japanese and by defeating the British but he also had direct connections with Hitler so there is plenty excuses for sanctions)
9)India develops close ties with the soviets to counter western sanctions
    10) Free Tibet would probably exist
    11) India would definitely be no.2 in GDP in 2024, closer to the US than China is today.
    12) Post war Indo-Japanese and Indo-German relations would be really really interesting to say the least
    13) India would certainly be a manufacturing and service economy and not an agricultural economy as it is today.
    14) India is a permanent member in UN

In 1962 indo-china war naheru maybe did good to not retaliate against China even when we have the stronger Air force
Because maybe he get the insight that pak will attack india with siding china
So he didn't turn the battle into full blown two front war

Nah , Nehru was simply incapable. He never considered the possibility of war with china neither felt that army should be strengthened...Nehru , Krishna Menon and General Kaul were solely the reason we lost the war.
