gosh that saratoga water is a beaut clarky! They made those bottles in lake desolation NY. The whole village that was there burned to the ground in a big forrest fire. There is still glass slag all over the place up there from back then!
Talk about customer satisfaction. You've polled us in the past about whether we prefer crick walks or pit digs. Here you deliver both! Hearing your Dad holler "YAY!" was the highlight of this video for me. Still smiling....
I distinctly remember finding a similar WHOLE doll while crossing a ditch behind my mamaw's house back in my childhood. I picked it up & showed it to her and she immediately snatched it out of my hand and told me don't fool with that... but she was an antique collector, it's where I got my interest from... and I never saw that doll again. It was white and all bisque (unglazed porcelain or ceramic, matte). I forgot about it for awhile and then she dismissed it when I asked about it years later. She's been gone since 1988, and I haven't given up looking for it. I remember it distinctly, I knew it was old and beautiful and I wonder even today why she acted that way about it...
back in the 90’s i worked with some guys who used to go bottle digging. I went with them a few times and we found some pretty cool stuff. I didn’t think it would be as fun as it is. It’s a blast when u start pulling things out of the dirt from the 1800’s
Those were some holes you guys dug but deeper you can go hopefully better finds. Loved the bottle your dad found. It had a beautiful color of a green. Always enjoy your videos. ♥️😊👍👍👏
The format was great Brandon. Im sure its getting alot harder for you to keep getting enough content to make videos for us each week.(Especially when we keep asking for longer videos) combining 2 days of digging in a sort of flashback scenario worked really well i thought. So happy to see Dad check one on the bucket list. I could see his grin from here 😁 Thanks for all your work to keep us entertained Brandon. And as alway thanks for taking us along.
I love the creek walks and the digs. I would LOVE longer videos AND being a 62 year young female would love to see more of the beautiful jewelry your wife makes from the creek glass finds!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Different format for sure but we loved it! You did give us both the mud lark and bottle dig! Awesome job, loved the bottle stopper. What an awesome creek to walk! Keep up the great work!
I love the way you merged the two videos!!! Makes me really want to go right hole!!! I would not know where to start here in Maryland... Thank you so much for another wonderful adventure!!!
Really liked this video format with the creek walking going on then having digging highlights throughout. Very well done over all and one of your best videos in my opinion. Looking forward to more creek walking videos as the weather warms up; still cold up north here but I pulled my first Christmas Coke outta the local creek this week and I’m itching to get back haha
Thank you Brandon for the adventure and seeing some amazing finds especially that 1870's bottle that your dad found ! Tell him congratulations for me on that find !
I think that standard bottling works is the top bottle of the video. Those tiny town Alabama bottles are incredibly hard to find compared to most Northern and East Coast bottles.
Congrats to your dad. Nice find, now go find one older. Good to see Clayton, that young man is just a plethora of knowledge. I'm convinced that everyone needs to write a book on subjects they're familiar with and he needs to write a book on Alabama bottles with you writing the forward. I enjoyed the format, I always enjoy the digging videos and the creek walking videos, but this being a blend of the two was fun for a change. I can see why if you didn't have enough content for two videos why you'd combined the best of both, but hey it was still fun. AND we got a dadgum. How can you not like that. Hey to everyone down there from the Detroit area.
Brandon thanks for taking us along on another bottle searching adventure.❤️any format you choose to present. It brightens my Friday. Enjoy when you get dig and mud lark with family and friends 😊
Awesome story about your dad finding that 1870’s green bottle Brandon! Thanks for the killer creek walk! Thank you also for all the advice about scammers and buying subscribers! Have a great day my friend.
This was the best of both worlds creek and pit! Love the bottle your dad found beautiful color! The creek put out a great one for you too. I am happy for you both! Take care and keep up the amazing videos ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Very cool stuff. You mentioned privies in the area, and I get that everything got dumped into the privey, but how does so much glass end up in that stream? Could that be a somewhat modern dump site?
that was a nice combination, those were great bottles, especially the 1870 green, such a great find! you never know what you will dig up! great video Brandon. do you use a back pack to carry all of your booty!
Great video. I live in Dothan, Alabama, and it's exciting to hear the history of the areas. I didn't know we had so many bottling companies in Al. Happy bottle hunting, guys.
How do you know which bottles, when brought to the surface, are more likely to crack? Some videos I’ve watched you’re real concerned and take precautions and others you don’t. Fun video with the mix of creek and digging.
Love your content and the old bottles. However, it's very concerning how deep those holes are with you guys in them. If they cave in, they will die for sure. You will not be able to dig that volume out fast enough. Excavation safety says a hole 5 ft needs to be shored, per OSHA. No bottle is worth you not seeing your daughter grow up.
Appreciate the concern! Just know that the guys in this video combined have over a century of digging experience combined digging holes just like these.
gosh that saratoga water is a beaut clarky! They made those bottles in lake desolation NY. The whole village that was there burned to the ground in a big forrest fire. There is still glass slag all over the place up there from back then!

I’ve been very fortunate to find amazing bottles but to me I enjoy seeing my friends and family find stuff more than myself!
I second this statement!
Great video as ever but it scares me to death seeing you all so deeeeeeeep !

Awesome job on the format! Love the way you mixed it up. Thank you Brandon for another amazing video!!

This was one of your best. Thanks for the adventure.

I love the combination creek walk/digging video, Brandon. Congrats to your dad on his beautiful old bottle!❤
Brandon you never disappoint! You put a great video out each week! Great job
I appreciate that!
Awesome combo digs...both were great.
Highlight was you Dad finding 1870s bottle ...🥰🥰

6:04 that is a beautiful bottle for sure!!!! Huge congrats to your dad on his oldest bottle
Love your videos and finds
Thank you Brandon for the adventure and seeing some amazing finds especially that 1870's bottle that your dad found ! Tell him congratulations for me on that find !
I think that standard bottling works is the top bottle of the video. Those tiny town Alabama bottles are incredibly hard to find compared to most Northern and East Coast bottles.
Tell your dad congratulations on that green bottle! That is gorgeous! Love the video!
That 1870s dump has alot of potential, I know that could be a outstanding dig site.
I see where you got the enjoyment for hunting for bottles. Family tradition. See ya next week
Time to start collecting bottle tops, as in the first few inches of the bottles top.
Love the creek/digging combo!! What a great bottle your dad dug. Keep up the good work!!
Ditch & Dig Combo! Love it! 😉♥
Congrats dad! Awesome video, love this content!

Hey to everyone down there from the Detroit area.
Thank you for taking us along, so happy for your Dad! GBY
Awesome video this morning, creek walking and digging on the same day! Almost choked on my coffee when I saw how deep those holes were
I really like the format of this video! Great work!
Awesome video thank you so very much for sharing hope you have a wonderful weekend 👍👍❤️
Well done video. I did enjoy the format.
Great video!! Loved it!
Brandon thanks for taking us along on another bottle searching adventure.❤️any format you choose to present. It brightens my Friday. Enjoy when you get dig and mud lark with family and friends 😊
Loved it as usual my friend
Awesome story about your dad finding that 1870’s green bottle Brandon! Thanks for the killer creek walk! Thank you also for all the advice about scammers and buying subscribers! Have a great day my friend.
Yup, that was pretty cool!
Awesome video I really like the bottle your dad found and I also really enjoyed how you did the creek walk along with the video great job
That green bottle is killer! Awesome dig, congratulations y’all.
This was the best of both worlds creek and pit! Love the bottle your dad found beautiful color! The creek put out a great one for you too. I am happy for you both! Take care and keep up the amazing videos ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Great format!
I like the way you did this video
Always a goodun !
Great format 😊
Awesome finds and video!
Your Dad's face was priceless! What a marvellous shot to get a still print off if possible.
Would we like a creek walk or a digging video? Yes.
Great visit, loved the changes today! Weird tho' hearing you at nearly a whisper during the creek walk!
There are a couple of dogs there that start barking when I’m too loud and then It messes my filming up. So I have to be a bit more quiet haha
@@adventurearchaeology Ah, I hate yappie little dogs, so, glad I didn't hear those in the background then!
That was fun going back and forth!
Another awesome video. Looks like everyone had a good day. Enjoy the weekend.
Hey from Memphis. I like the walk-dig format.
Great content and format those were killer bottles
Nice finds 😊
I do like the mug base bottles
Always love your videos
Liked it a lot
Love the variation between digging and river wading
👍🙏>>>💚~~~ Thank You Loved the format...
I love river treasures good luck 😊
Waolking & digging are both fine, but both together are SUPER FINE !! Thank you.
Very fun video format!
Good stuff
Loved it as always.
I liked the format. Good job!
Great video Brandon ❤
Pop's here. Do you use mason trowels. That would help doing fine dirt removal.
They are too flimsy and just bend in our soil.
Hey my friend...I found the same Barry's bottle in Titusville Florida!..I'm a Land Surveyor!...this is surreal you found the same thing!!👍👍
Very cool stuff. You mentioned privies in the area, and I get that everything got dumped into the privey, but how does so much glass end up in that stream? Could that be a somewhat modern dump site?
They dipped the privies out and put the nasty stuff right into the creek to keep from digging so many privy holes.
that was a nice combination, those were great bottles, especially the 1870 green, such a
great find! you never know what you will dig up! great video Brandon. do you use a back pack
to carry all of your booty!
I carry a backpack!
Thank you for all of the above.lol
Where do you enter creeks? Public access areas?
Usually parks or bridges.
Loved the different type format!!!
At 3:34 there were more bottles under the bank.
love your videos😃
Great video. I live in Dothan, Alabama, and it's exciting to hear the history of the areas. I didn't know we had so many bottling companies in Al. Happy bottle hunting, guys.
Great Video!!!
Awesome‼️‼️‼️
Pop's here I've wondered why you don't bring a little battery chainsaw for brush removal.
The more gear we carry the less room we have for carrying bottles out haha
How do you know which bottles, when brought to the surface, are more likely to crack? Some videos I’ve watched you’re real concerned and take precautions and others you don’t.
Fun video with the mix of creek and digging.
Do make a compilation of non-bottle fab finds, it’s all cool.
My late husband found lots of items under a small town pharmacy. Old old items
2:32 brand is Ponds cream ,not old prob from 50s but you have a great site there
I actually like to see all those stoppers!
How do you cut broken bottles to make glasses, and how do you tumble old bottles?
Thinkin that wood plug was to a small wood barrel. Most probably nails.
That wooden plug was probably from a wooden Barrel.
I’d like to have a “10-2&4” glass
I have a Standard bottling company in a hutch. Is that old? I dug it from an old dump site.
It’s a great bottle a few years older than the one I found in this video.
❤
yeah that hathorn 1870s.
if you like historical places then you should visit ( Moen jo daro) it's 5000 years old
Looks like a lot of iron in that water
Love your content and the old bottles. However, it's very concerning how deep those holes are with you guys in them. If they cave in, they will die for sure. Appreciate the concern! Just know that the guys in this video combined have over a century of digging experience combined digging holes just like these.
Aren't you removing future treasures by removing the modern stuff out of the creeks?...lol
Haha More like preserving…… One deep freeze or a bottle rolling down the creek into a rock is a real possibility. 😂
