He's like those people who go on the talent show thinking they can sing and can't carry a tune at all. With all the talent on the show it was still so cringy. Angela Kang is a goddess. I am so thankful that she's the new one in charge. I think she's gotten rid of the: "something only happens every 8th episode" deal that Gimple was using. What's sad is that I liked seasons 5 and 6. I feel like Gimple brought the show back but later on, killed it again with S7-8.
I mean he was the savior. People forget that he had a hand in the best era of the show - seasons 4-6. The show was terrible from the moment Negan was introduced for me. Further back it's really not been the same since they stopped at Alexandria. And the introduction of the hilltop, kingdom and negan just solidified we were never gonna see our gang on the road again which is when it's the best. Gimple gets a bad wrap but he hasn't done anything too horrible apart from killing Carl. The quality of seasons 7 and 8 can't be put all on his shoulders. They follow the comics pretty closely it's not like these were all their choices directly.
I actually prefer seasons 2 and 3 over any other, mazzara was my favourite showrunner. Gimple killing coral was a huge mistake and I do believe he is too far gone now, like he would put it. I don't hate the guy, but I dislike his decisions in the later seasons.

I feel like if it just carried on its narrative, which was going to be about the growing tension between Madison and Nick, then it would have been really good by the time it ended. But that doesn’t bring money so I guess totally killing what made the show different was better.

You're ruining all of the characters, and forcing them into a non-sensible script that lacks any compelling narrative. Why on earth would I hire either of you morons? The three proceed to stare at eachother for a few moments. And then *Vigorous, deep-throat, cock-sucking noises* -four days later- Gimple: AMC, hear me out. We should hire these two guys to be the new showrunners for fear. AMC: Are they any good? What season 4 ideas are they proposing? Gimple: Um... The first half of season 4 had some unique ideas with showing that Nick had PTSD about the damn explosion but too bad that was never explored and the show went downhill from there like how the fuck is it possible that fear become absolute dogshit in less than a season.
Adog 00 well Hershel was going to die in the fight no matter what as that’s where Hershel’s story ends in the comics. They just remixed it and gave Tyreese’s original death to Hershel because Tyreese wasn’t that close to Rick in the TV-Show like he was in the comics. The other two though yes.
