I think the saddest truth is rather there are some who claim to be Christians and yet live as though they are apart from Christ thus becoming stumbling block to others who are non-believers. The Bible gives us the gospel message, and instructions for righteous living. The first, is not contingent upon the second. The reason Christianity is rejected is because a false gospel is presented. No one is required to “repent of sins”, “make Him lord”, “make a personal commitment”, “give your life” etc., to receive eternal life. Faith in The Savior is what saves us. We recognize our need for a savior and put our trust in THE SAVIOR. That’s it, nothing more. Righteous living should follow in time, but never determines our destiny. Faith in the savior determines our destiny.
Romans 10:9-10 states, "if you confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

However, thats not all there is to it. If thats all you do as a Christian, you will enter heaven just barely, and with nothing to your possession. The bible states that those will be saved just like one saves a burning piece of wood out of a fire. (1. Corinthians 15) You'll basically be a homeless in heaven.
I'd rather be a homeless in heaven than a king in hell, mind you, but there're so many treasures in heaven we can collect right now here on earth.

Knowing that you will reject Him is not making you reject Him. We cannot have it both ways , be selfish, backstabbing idolaters stealing from God but yet deny Him and call Him a bad guy when He tells us we can’t dwell with Him. God has to also be fair and just to Himself why should He have people around Him in eternity who rejected Him in life?
Hell is not "separation from God". The bible does not speak about it this way.
Hell is eternal punishment in the presence of the Lamb and the Angels ( Rev14:10) and at the same time being cast away from the Lords presence (2Thes1:9).
We can not just read 2Thes1:9 without Rev14:10. I think to best align these 2 verses is to say that hell is being separated from the blessings of God but you do get punished.
But its not at all just a "separation from God" and then you do what you want and have a nice day with your buddies. You are being punished and the metaphors of fire and darkness tell us that it is not a pleasant place.
Hell is about God, not fire, Satan or our-self. And heaven is about God. Everything is about God.
And even if we don't fully understand it all right now, we will one day understand that eternal punishment is just and righteous and makes perfect sense.
I have a better description of that.
If God is fire, a saint is a person who lets the fire into his/her heart to warm it.
A damned is, on the contrary, someone who shut the fire out of their lives. Inside that feel cold and darkness, but outside they burn at the presence of the Lord and they can't bear it.

Yes, everyone "wants to do their own thing." A Christian follows Jesus because he or she wants to. I don't follow Jesus because, yes, I want to do my own thing, which is to reject human-invented stories about gods and man-gods.
You are free to choose that. And that is evidence that God gave us the option to choose to be separate from him. No one is forced to do anything under God, but as with all choices there are consequences.

I can only have faith that God is just to those who follow other religions (Muslims etc.) I would hope that God would reveal the truth to these people so that they may be given the opportunity to repent and accept the true God and Jesus's sacrifice.

As a Christian I cannot say that an unbeliever will spend eternity in Hell. I do not know that. God has not told me of his plan for each and every individual. I can only know with He told me of His plan for me. Accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, follow His commands and I will have eternal life with Him in His Kingdom.
I do not know what will transpire between God and the unbeliever at the moment of his death. But I do believe that in order to mitigate the chances of spending eternity in Hell is for everyone to dig deep down, examine the evidence, be truthful with yourself...really truthful with yourself and ask Jesus to take the reins of your life. Commit yourself to Him and you will be able overcome any obstacle.

I think the main reason why people reject Jesus Christ is that they have never had a true and real encounter with Him. Western evangelical religion has grossly misrepresented Father, Son and Spirit, and what most people that reject Jesus have encountered is an angry, narcissistic, punitive and tyrannical god that any sane person would reject. Typically anyone who truly encounters our risen Lord, is drawn to Him, not repelled by Him. That's my observation in many years of following Jesus. Sadly, for many of those years I also misrepresented Him.

@@michaelroach2401 There is no irreversible place of eternal conscious torment. Only the lake of fire which is God Himself, a consuming fire. Sheol, Hades and Gehenna are not hell and were never understood as hell by the people who heard references to them.
In the end all will repent and confess Jesus Christ as Lord to the glory of the Father and the writings of the scripture.

@@michaelroach2401 Scripture declares throughout that what God wills and what He says will be done. It says that it is His will that all be saved and come to knowledge of the truth. Then we see confirmation in Paul’s writings that as in Adam all die, so in Christ, the same all are made alive. He also declares that at some point EVERY tongue will (gladly and willingly) confess Jesus Christ as Lord. It is a done deal my friend. And He did it without our consent.
It baffles me how so many people can’t stand this good news and can’t believe God is that good.

Well...being born again in the spirit is God's confirmation to everyone that believes (trusts) the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) of their salvation and relationship with him.
And just like the birth that confirms our very existence on this planet that can't be denied the spiritual birth of being born again can't be denied either, that is why there are no such thing as a true ex-born again Christian and so everyone that claims to be an ex-Christian was never a true born again Christian in the first place.

Why does this guy post so many videos of himself losing arguments? It’s very entertaining, but people in the comments act like he actually said something.
You know what the evidence that Jesus was a real person prove? That he was a real person. Your confirmation bias tells you that since he was a real person, everything about him, however impossible, must be true.
I read a few chapters of the Scientology Bible. There was just enough believable claims to keep me interested for a while. However at the end of each chapter it kept saying “and these are facts that have been proven in a lab!”
However it never described how these extraordinary claims were tested. Was a persons cancer really cured through hypnosis? Can a persons eyesight really improve through therapy and hypnosis? How were these things tested? What was the level of improvement? Was it repeatable?
You should have the same scrutiny for your claims.
It’s not simply because he existed, it’s the eyewitness accounts, which were written down 20 years or so after the death of Christ,
It came via the apostles then written down before they passed away, some of them didn’t even speak the same language, yet, could recite everything Jesus done, other writings at the time from Roman leaders, corroborated this too,

Jim Jones convinced 900 people that he was a messiah and convinced them to kill their own children. No, you don't die for someone you believe to be a false Idol. Would you consider maybe, that Christ and his followers convinced a few hundred people that he was the son of god. And after he died they continued his teachings and were killed for it? That is a scenario that could actually happen. Were as the story of Christ coming back to life is too extraordinary for an adult to take as truth.
There is a documentary that does not prove the Shroud of Turin was made using primitive photography, but it shows how it could have been made with photography methods. The head is too big for the body, the image is too perfect, and it doesn't appear the way it would if it were truly a burn mark. Also, photography was something that was being experimented on during the Renaissance. They also replicated the process on camera.

Since Paul did not mention any stories from the Gospels in his Episcles and our Gospels where only discovered in 185 by Ireneaus it seems reasonable to believe he was mythical. But it's OK everybody has their own view. With tens of thousands of denominations there's plenty of religions to belong to. Don't fret about those with different ideas none of it makes any day to day difference.
Jesus is the only way to heaven. No other false religion has a path to heaven.

In reality it is says that Faith...true faith in Christ will exhibit itself in works and action. And that is true. A true Christian will read their bible, or attend a church, or be charitable and kind. A true Christian will live a clean lifestyle, and will exhibit a nature different than a carnal person. I don't the least bit fret over the book of James because I understand it and its all about Faith and not works or merit.

Another argument is "I can't believe because there is so much suffering in the world." And they ask "Why does God allow this to happen?" We need to be wise. Some people ask such question, because they really deeply long for answers. I do believe that God will answer, sooner or later. However, for the others suffering is just an excuse, "reason" why they refuse to repent. I use a simple test. I ask: "If you worry about children suffering from hunger, people facing racism, genocides...how much have YOU done for those people?" When I asked this question for the first time, I was shocked how aggressive the reaction was. The person I asked started screaming "I won't do anything for those, your God can do it himself!" - I smiled and replied:"Well, you don't care about those people only a little, do you?"
I think the suffering question is another red herring. Those same people will - by and large - condemn God for punishing the evil committed by the Canaanites in the Old Testament. And I guarantee if God was to put a stop to the evil that happens in the abortion clinics, those same people would be howling like banshees.

I was at an event last night in my community where 7000 people gathered to celebrate and praise God. I witnessed Rev. Will Graham issue an alter call and over 200 unbelievers rose and accepted Jesus Christ into their lives. Christianity declining? Nope.

Why is there racism? Because there is a primal fear of the unknown, that parents propagate to their children.

It's the age-old problem. People that want to be seen as philosophers who are always seeking, but never finding, because there's no glory in admitting the answer is simple. He hits the nail on the head in that being agnostic keeps rules and accountability at bay because "he's still working on the problem of truth." We know that the saving Gospel of Christ is true, and we know that we are saved, when we **repent and trust in Christ Jesus as our Savior & Lord, then God's Holy Spirit comes to dwell within us, forever.
God's word says that "His Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God."
The very first people rejected God because they wanted to be their own 'god.' It's pride, the same thing that got Lucifer, [now Satan], kicked out of heaven, along with 1/3 of the angels [now demons].
God's word also reveals that too many people love their sin, they want to hide it in the dark, and they don't want to come to the light so that their evil deeds will be exposed.

My life has the "value" and " purpose" I GIVE IT dear. I think this is the one and only life I will ever have and as such I place a greater "value" on it than YOU do dear. This life is not merely some prelude to a main event or nothing more than something to be "cast off like old rags".
I tell my loved ones everyday how much I love them and treasure every moment I spend with them. I don't count on some next life giving me the opportunity to do so. I spend my time trying in my own small way to make THIS LIFE and THIS WORLD a better place for those in it. That's what gives me the "purpose" to get out of bed every day dear.
I work hard providing for my wife and 3 kids and spend most of my spare time doing voluntary work with young children ( many of whom are disabled ) the smiles upon their faces the only reward or purpose one could ever need for it to have "meaning"
But under your theology my inability to believe in magic and extrodinary claims and diferentiate them from the many other such extrodinary claims of other "Gods" with differing scripture and "values" derived from them, means that I'm deserving of eternal torture regardless of how I live my life.
Conversely however a murderer so long as he truly repents and accepts Jesus on his death bed he can spend an eternity in paradise with those he murdered. Unless of course those people also found the "evidence" for your God unconvincing, in which case the murderer would be looking down from paradise on the people he killed as they too suffered for eternity with me 😡

I argue that the only way to confirm the truth is to move forward as if it is true, that is faith. I remember parking my car at a particular location, it may not be there, the only way to be certain is to go forward, to go to the place and confirm that my memory was accurate.
