Nice Job👍. Laying blocks on concrete is better than on earth even with the membrane weeds still get through. No weeds are ever going to push themselves through concrete. Nice pattern also. The front of this house is coming along nicely. 👌

Hello my friend!!!!! Awesome work u guys do like always!!!! U n Javier don’t stop to amaze me with u all’s skills n workmanship!!!! Knocked it out way out !!!! Best In The Best !!!!! 🙏🏼👍🏼👊🏼
Only reason we set on compacted abc and screenings is to allow heave of ground during the seasons. Concrete can crack and than pavers become loose and uneven.
The sand they swept into the bricks get hard after they mist it with water. This allows the entire surface to be hard and is good for water diversion. I know this sand as (polymeric sand)
Wow. I’m loving how this walkway looks. I can also appreciate all the labor and craftsmanship that goes into this type of job. It’s beautiful and on that concrete base it should stay that way for many, many years. I hope that you and your guys and your families had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Great job and happy holidays. Don't mean to be sound negative, but when you place pavers on concrete and you seal all the perimeter with mortar, you have to place drain in place otherwise water will just sit on bottom no where to excape. That's why we dig it out place road base, sand then pavers. Also if the concrete cracks, it will seperate the pavers. Thank you for video, Inhouse Construction
You do real clean work. Too bad your company isn't here in Houston, but I'm sure you get alot of work in California. Since your in an area close to the ocean, do you ever use other kinds of rebar? Just wondering because I have some ideas for my house in the Bahamas and I know it's windy and salt water could affect the cement over some time.
Thats a good job will last forever. To save time on cuts lay the pavers first overlapping the perimeter then mark the perimeter then use a floor saw or quick cut to cut the perimeter. Then mud the boarder in last
That's completely false. This is the ONLY WAY it should be done in the northern climates, the freeze thaws warp the stone bases in no time and make the jobs look bad in a few years. Concrete holds up if done correctly with the right base underneath 20+ years. Same way they did it in castles. The only difference is that I mortar every single paver to the concrete base
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete I know that. I'm wondering about the price difference between the base materials. Like how much different is it to pour concrete for the base then going with sand for the base? There has got to be a noticeable price difference between the 2
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete Love your videos!. Much respect, I have done a lot of concrete work over the years and I try to avoid it like the plague because I know how hard it is on the body.
