What a dream!! Lots of intelligent planning, and capital investment required. So good to see the VERY positive results!

Finally someone on the internet that knows what he is talking about - deeply evolved soul -
Saw that you are interested in making more content and visiting over 100 farms next year
I am in the process of getting a 3.4ha land (mid Sweden) and I am going to make a market farm.
Your style have inspired a lot and made it quite easy for me to filter out the weeds (of the internet) and a clearer vision of how I want the things done
Are you having any wants to follow a farm from scratch to our utopia?
    stay safe and stay gardening

Wow, SO much abundance! Everything looks so fresh and delicious. Well done everyone.
So nice to see Gracie & Raggie enjoying each other again too. That's been the hardest thing for me during the Covid epidemic...not getting to have my regular visits with family who live across the country. Miss them like crazy. So nice you were able to go pick up your daughter!

Hello Richard, great video as always. I was curious as to how you set up the green fence with wood in the market garden area. What kind of material is that? Im looking to to something similar. I have been trying to avoid using chicken wire or something similar. Have a nice day.

I'm not Richard, but I think it's known and sold as windbreak material.

I’ve had the same issue with our Ildi tomatoes? It’s been a weird year, all of our tomatoes a slow growing🤔

Can the restaurant produce be juiced and sold as a beverage? Or, dehydrated and sold as an instant soup, or soup flavoring mix?

    • @cherylanon5791

My guess is it would cost quite a bit to produce & package the salad greens as such. However any unsold greens on any regenerative farm are not lost-- they become compost!

Doesn’t storing the eggs fat side up prevent the air pocket from reaching the yolk and thus keep the eggs fresher longer?

Great stuff as usual guys! I also work to bring good produce to restaurants and used to work as a chef before this. I was therefore curious to ask what in your mind people in general and growers like us can do to help restaurants out during this challenging time? Would be great to hear your thoughts on this subject.
    Best weather wishes for august

How often do you slaughter the birds? Is it seasonal or anything?

Check out his other videos, you'll be able to find the answer in them. I do believe there is a 'series' of videos from around april or march this year where he tells us (the viewers) about the whole broiler enterprise from start to end.

Using the excess crop; give a free bunch to 'valued customers' for them to pass onto their friends, etc, so they may try them. Presume many may come to buy from you too, having enjoyed the quality and taste of your produce. I remember you said you didn't want to become 'big', but a small expansion to avoid waste is ok, surely?

Please check the egg storage direction. Most say pointy end down. Thank you for hours of invaluable vids.

We collect them pointy side up, then they are flipped into cardboard trays, so end up stored correctly with the flat side up. (I said the second part wrongly)

Will you record the conversations between Joel and Richard?? This stuff is so important, be a shame if you didnt. Feels terrible to not be able to sit in on that amazing meeting. Can't get that information from a book. Please please record even if you charge 15 euro for the view.

Isn't Europe closed to Americans? How will Joel get to Sweden?

Is this the new EU thing, farm-to-fork? Where they will add more tax on meat and dairyproducts for example..

    • @aenorist2431
      @aenorist2431 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Maybe they are using the term too, but its certainly not invented by the EU or meant in this context here.

I love watching your videos. The photography is outstanding. The choice of music in this one was however extremely irritating by its repetitive nature, lack of musical development...it was like department store musac of the worst kind. I love hearing what you say but don't make me have to keep playing with the volume button to eliminate the mysick.... just take time to make a more interesting and appropriate selection of music. The wash station choice was Ok because it had overtones of jazz.

Keep in mind there is such a thing as content-ID and other copyright concerns.
Finding and arranging free-to-use music is a job.

Also keep in mind, most of us are here for the actual conceptual content and don't even notice the music.

Young musicians and composers need support and one may be generous enough to allow snippets of their works for the opportunity to have access to a popular platform. Having the attitude of always doing things for free can limit the heights that one can achieve. Many people can help you if you take the time to ask.

Richard Perkins explicitly encourages us to study patterns. It's only by studying these patterns that the brilliance and beauty of Ridgedale is revealed. However if you are pattern sensitive, it is impossible to not listen to the music and if you have any musical training it is impossible to overlook the musical significe. A picture can indicate a thousand words and the music can evoke s thousand feelings. Let the music add value to the video, not cheapen it
