A mod for Helldivers that changes the divers to ODSTs, the bugs to Flood, and the automatons to Forerunner machines would further prove how Halo would work in that specific format for another stamdalone ODST game.

They said they were doing this for free, even on their discord you could see the progress, and the way they plan thoroughly on implementing different flood concepts, how to get them to work together, is like actually seeing for the first time in decades what a proper development team that has passion, work. I personally think they should scale up the alien weaponry cause you are playing as a regular human. And ofc all alien weaponry should do ALOT of damage. How to balance that? Decrease battery percentages, ammo capacity, etc.

I low key want a cod style halo game where you play as a marine. There is so much armour customisation options for marines from all the different variants from the games. And the best part? A flood zombies mode would fit perfectly and could be made to fit a horror theme very easily
I found out about it from a magazine coverdisk that had it under the "Free Games" section. I remember that it was made by Dobermann, and that they later made some other fangames.
