- In this video, I will show you how to make GSM Based Fire Alarm System, using, Arduino UNO, SIM800L GSM Module, Buzzer and Flame Detector. The Flame Sensor is used for detecting the fire. When the flame sensor detects the fire, the buzzer will turned ON, and 3 SMS alerts as well as 3 phone call alerts will be sent to the 3 phone numbers stored inside the Arduino sketch using SIM800L.
this GSM based fire alarm system can easily installed where wired network i s not available link at mountains, forests and deserts. You may also called this project "forest fire detection using Arduino". This project can help users to improve their safety by immediate response in preventing accidents.

Ahmad, thank you for your interest. My problem is with making calls to two or more numbers. In the project you have made using the pir and sim800l you specified, it would be good if you could adapt it to call two or more phones.

To establish a connection between your project and the MIT App Inventor, you will need either a Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or USB connection. This connection will enable you to send phone numbers from the MIT App Inventor to the SIM800L module.
The Serial Monitor only ends at Fire Detected. The Fire sensor and buzzer works but it won't send a message or call the number in the code

@@AhmadLogs I have followed the command but it took a very long time for the bell to turn off by itself. so I have to forcefully turn off the buzzer after the sms is sent via the reset button on the arduino. now i am trying to change some of the commands you gave in the hope that the buzzer turns off after the sms is successfully sent

What Sim did you use? In Sim800L module I hope you answer🥺. Or you didn't not select sim in Sim800L module

How can I stop the buzzer from sounding? When I'm using a lighter and focusing it on the sensor the sensor feels it and sends a signal to the buzzer to sound and when the buzzer goes off it doesn't want to stop what do I have to do to solve it?

I think, you need to modify a little bit of code for ne555 based heat sensor(thermistor).
this flame sensor is works on digital pin of arduino but most of thermistor works on analog pin. that's why you need to modify the code

It may be possible to replace the SIM800L with the SIM900A and use the same code, but there may be differences in their AT command sets and communication protocols that could require modifications to the code.
So we can use 2 sim cards for receiving and sending msg?
no only one sim card is required. sim card must be 2g enabled

Greetings sir I used this same code with a sim900A but the sms was send once and during the the second try the sms was not send . And the call was not placed for both first and second testing. What could be the problem ?

Firstly thank you for this tutorial.
I am having an issue with the sim800L module.
I have connected it to a 3.7V Li ion cell.
On turning on the led of the module blinks every 1sec for 6-8times then stops blinking for 3sec, then again blinks for 6-8 times and stops for 3sec.
Please can you help me what's causing this problem.
connect a capacitor to sim800l. connect the capacitor +ve leg to sim800l vcc pin. and connect capacitor -ve leg to sim800l gnd pin

Actually I tried the capacitor solution but it still did not work.
While surfing I found that sometimes a thinner gauge wire may be unable to provide the desired voltage and current.
So I swapped the default wires of the cell holder with a higher gauge wire and it started to work!
Don't even need the capacitor.

Can you please modify this code to send 3 mobile numbers via SMS instead of hard coded in Arduino code to be received & stored in eeprom memory using 6 digit SMS code to set the Arduino to accept next SMS consists of 3 mobile numbers string to be stored in eeprom memory. Also another 6 digit SMS code to retrieve the 3 eeprom stored numbers to request received Mobile number.

to use a counter, use an integer type variable before setup function. and count that counter while sending sms using if condition.

have your sim800l working properly? have you tested it. just make a call to your sim800l and hear the calling tone.

@@AhmadLogs the 9v acts as a power supply for both the arduino and gsm
@@duncantychicus9649 for powering sim800l, the best power supply is 3.7v 2000mAh battery. you need to change the power supply for both arduino and sim800l. just connect the vcc of battery to sim800l vcc and arduino vcc

only the following line cause error. "An error while uploading the the sketch"
1. I think you does not select the arduino uno board from the tool menu. so make sure you have selected the Arduino UNO board, before uploading the code
2. just install the latest version of arduino IDE

It's not working the only thing I use different is the jumper wires you use regular wire when you connect the breadboard I use jumper wire dose it matter

@@mr.shadow5522 powering sim800l is some how tricky. so it required 3.7v and it also required 2A current while performing burst operation. so you need a power supply that must capable of providing 2A of current.
also use shorter wires from battery to sim800l.
