Well at this point I was still running the original shocks and they not as good as an upgraded version but I had to put the shocks in a more upright position to avoid binding on the front and rear suspension. In the future I tried 59 mm shocks which caused issues again on the front axle so I went back to 53 mm shocks from Injora and I put on the original springs from the stock shocks, and once again with the lcg chassis I had to put the shocks quite upright to avoid any binding between the links. Have you got the same chassis that I used on this build! Because when I purchased these chassis they we're selling this chassis for both rigs the defender and bronco! They ended up changing the design on the chassis for the Bronco it's got a cutaway so that the brace that goes between the fenders on the inner part of the body doesn't push up against the shock towers! I eliminated this problem by cutting the piece of brace between the screws under the bonnet which then allowed for it to be able to clip on. I hope this helps you

I have the land rover version an so far it’s pretty stock but I want to start adding mods…. I take it that this chassis helps keep weight low down and allows more suspension travel? Do you think it’s worth it?
Hi bro 👋 I also have the land Rover version and I've also fitted it with the LCG carbon chassis It definitely is an interesting upgrade, it allowed for better shock positioning, lower center of gravity, Also reducing the weight bringing the center of gravity lower. In my opinion it is worth it. Especially for the price.
@@rcfungames what else do you recommend?… I see you can now buy metal axels and portal axels… although the portals look to widen the stance a lot! I would like to free up the drive train when at full steering lock… I think bearings sort that but it may take more parts..?

You always want more weight upfront then in the back. So then you can think of brass C hubs, knuckles, staring link ect... Hope that helps bro.
@@rcfungamesHi’ Thank you for the video. I’m new to this so it will help me a lot. I just got for me and my son the f150 ranger and the K10 Chevy. We already have upgraded the servo to the srt-dt06 as adviced by the rc shop. I was thinking about upgrading the front and rear axles with the ones from Injura. +4mm is ok? Or the diamond ones? And I saw that you need the injura chassis for these ones. Which chassis should I go for? And also the shocks and the rims/tires maybe to be upgraded. Can you also recommend one this as well? I would really appreciate it. Thank you!🙏
@@anmic3590 hi bro, that's awesome you guys are going to love these little trucks! The chassis I recommend is the universal chassis from Injora, as it is made to take the lay down Servo setup. When purchasing the axles you have got three choices on the extended axles, the normal black with upright servo setup, again the normal black axles but with the lay down server setup, and of course you've got the new diamond axles, and the new new portal axle Diamond axles. I haven't tried the last one yet so in my opinion I recommend the diamond axles. They are excellent and look amazing, now when it comes to rims and tires, especially on the High Trails, I recommend grabbing a set of brass rims, you can choose your favorite style, when it comes to tires, I really like the swamp stompers and the swamp crawl tires. When it comes to the shocks, I find that with the Bronco Defender and high trial F-150 Ford or Chevy, the 53 mm shocks work best. A question the chassis you've got does it look like the one in the picture of this video? If yes it's the chassis for the defender, when I purchased this chassis they were both the same, but because of the issue with the Bronco not being able to clip in the front they changed the chassis and made it with a recession. Take your body off and look underneath the hood you'll see a black strip of plastic that goes from one side to the other of the inner fender, just cut this as close to the round piece with the screw as you can to allow space for the chassis That will sort your problem out. Hope that helps ✌️😉
Yes but this was when they first launched the carbon fiber chassis and it was for both before they did alteration And thank you very much I appreciate you watching and commenting .

Thank you so much I really appreciate the view and feedback👍👍👍 Yes it catches on the inner brace that goes on the inside of the body holding the mirrors and fenders, but as you can see I've been running it on mine and it's not had a problem it's a bit over tight fit and sometimes the body comes loose. Also if you do purchase it it is two-piece chassis and the screws and nuts holding it together like coming loose so make sure you do use loctite. In general I don't see the point of this upgrade, besides it giving more shock positions, that you cannot use as it catches inside on that brace.
