I have this camera. Never used it, just sat in the house ever since I was a child. I never thought much of it, until I picked up photography, and remembered this was in the house all these years.
The first canon point and shoot is a good one... especially, for $2! The Owl is really good too, with its big finder and prime lens. 1990’s+ Canon point and shoots are so underrated for their performance.
Hi! I bought that camera some months ago and I'm going to use it on a trip this summer. Which film did you use? Which film would you recommend for outdoor and sunny days? Thank you!!
Great review! If the AUTO mode is on and the red light is on, does that mean the flash will ALWAYS turn on when capturing or it just means the flash will be used if it’s low light?
How do I load the Canon Sure Shot 85 Zoom i loaded the film on but it stayed on 0 so i clicked the shutter once and then it changed to 1 and now that i took some pictures its up to 7 does that mean its working
Hi, I'm quite new to film photography and I'm not totally sure what it means when the orange indicator light keeps blinking? Based on my research it says that it's camera shake warning, does that mean I have to be steady or use a tripod? I tried doing it again while the camera is placed on a flat surface but it's still blinking.
I don't know of every model, but in some models orange indicator light blinking, means the camera warning you that there is not enough light. It can happen, for example, when you choose "no flash mode". (maybe you already figured it out, 1 year later lol)
Once you finish shooting the last exposure (last pic) the camera auto rewinds the film and you should be able to hold it up to your ear and hear the camera doing so. Once the rewinding sound stops completely, you can open the back cover and send your film to develop. :)
You just inspired me to get this camera! I’m a digital photographer as well but have been wanting to try film for a minute. The shots are great! What batteries does the 85mm zoom take?
i thrifted a canon sure shot 65 zoom not too long ago! It worked great, but when I loaded a new roll of film it wouldn’t reset :( i’ve wasted about 5 rolls of film trying to get it to work. any tips on how to fix that?

new to the film cameras what does the 85 mm zoom mean?
hi i have the same camera, how do you unload the films?

How did you edit your shots bro? Or those shots straight from the camera?

CR123A (:
@@adrian-et6zr why is that bad?
@@remkenyon what do you mean?
Hi, does the camera take any rolls? I know it’s 35mm but does it matter the brand? All I see is Kodak
You can use any 35mm roll there is
Do you use flash when outdoors (morning)?
Usually I just leave it in auto and let the camera decide, once it starts getting dark I make sure its on!
Nice
Nice! :)
Thank you :)
what battery did you use?
Hello I hope you see my comment and reply. I have the same camera, but I cannot find its coal, I wonder what its name is

Unfortunately I have no idea :/, the problem with electrics from old camera is that they can fail so maybe your wind motors aren’t working??
Cool video :)
thank you!
thank you!
found one at salvation army for $5 bucks !
Seriously? Past four minutes into your video and its all about you and not about the photos you took?
Cry about it
