@@OnViewCation Kid's Creek walking path behind Kohl's. It's a nice stroll. You can also fish there.

In my experience, early to mid October has been the best for that. Though sometimes it’s even been around the 20th.

I hate to tell whom ever posted this, that there are no Polar Bears in Traverse City. I know. I've lived here all my life.

Sleeping Bear sand dunes aren't part of Traverse City. Not even the same county.
The wineries again are mostly in Leelanau county. Not Grand Traverse. They some on Old Mission Pennisula but they use it as a selling point.

Its really too bad that people prevent tall buildings to come into Traverse City. People will say that it blocks the view of the lake. From which vantage point? If your standing in front of a 1-story building, that building is blocking the view. Hight restrictions make no sense.

Locals leave the city during the cherryfest because the fudgies are so obnoxious.

@@TPuffTree Ok, they don't leave the city but attending parades, airshows, and fireworks isn't worth it unless you live within walking distance of the event. Parking and traffic makes the experience not worth while. Might as well stick around so you can charge tourists $20 to park in your driveway.
