:3 Yeah, this guy, like me, hates sales calls. After he did like 150 calls, he learn the methodology, and gave the task with the education to someone to do it for him. Hehe. We could scale out, and find people to do calls. We could just take calls over Zoom/Skype/WhatsApp/Telegram/etc. ourselves. I'm not really shy when it comes to video calls. Video calls are probably better, since there is more human touch than just some voice on the phone.

This is amazing. Thanks for sharing. I noticed, that it seems that in order for you to make $50K a month, you can achieve that much easily by doing videos, or manage ads for companies. If you are a web developer, or software engineer or designer, it's much much harder to break even the $10K a month, let alone get $50K even you are an agency, unless you also sell software that is being used by big companies. I guess it is as what they say, attention is the currency of the 21st century. Anything that pulls people from the social medias -> your product = $ So it's not really about your product, or how good it is.
I wouldn't say it's easy, I've been doing videos since 2016 and it takes a good amount of experience - the reason it works with videos is because its fixed scope compared to custom development work
this is a total limiting belief....there's a guy called Brett Williams who does 7 figures as a one person design agency. Starter Story even did a video on him.
What if you are good at your passion? Often your passion comes easy to you. That's why you like doing it. I suspect that he has to redefine the word passion, I think video and entrepreneurship are his passion!
The big issue with this business model is that it is very hard to automate and make passive. You have to be in constant communication with your clients and team. The marketing departments tend to want to be very controlling and neurotic
The big issue is that being a spoiled snowflake that finds big issue with actually needing to work to earn money is gonna be a big issue in actually earning money 😂
@@jayzg60 then just put your money into stocks that pays dividends. If YOU can automate it, anyone can automate it. That's why dropshipping is no longer really a viable business, because anyone can do it.
I turned it off when instead of helping and employing his friends and fellow Americans he outsourced the work to children in foreign countries. This is the the problem with American today we applaud people like this for using labor exploits for their personal gain.
And I don’t see what’s wrong with hiring people from other countries. Everyone deserves a chance and some countries have way less opportunities to get any type of job. Nothing is stopping Americans from building their own businesses or leveling up their skills to get higher paying jobs.
@@blairmackenzie898 What's stopping them, is the difference in cost of living. Both of you are right, and both of you can do nothing about it because rising tide (global economy) lifts all boats.
This is fundamentally not true, we are addressing customer pain points for a different kind of buyer than the one that would get a video on freelance sites for $150 - plus, those video are terrible quality in the first place

@@PhilipClyde They do 20 - 60 second short form videos for social channels. They don't shoot any video for this. It's basically stock video, photos, client supplied screenshots mixed with text animation. I venture to say most of the animations are pulled from templates. Branding is usually supplied by the client. The work is done in countries that have inexpensive labour. Think $5 - $10 per hour for a very experienced animator. Once you work out a process from initial sales funnel to delivery combined with the cheap production staff you can run a fairly profitable business assuming you book enough clients. It will be interesting to see how they do in a couple of years once generative AI platforms are integrated with design platforms. Canva, Adobe and Microsoft are all working on solution in that field targeting social channels.
