Was that a penn fathom 2 in the beginning what size was that I’ve seen videos that the bigger ones have free spool problems

It is! It was the 15n size, they do, it seemed when you’d turn the drag knob, it would impact the free spool.

I believe that’s the Jygpro long fall rod. The hook keeper is called Katch and you can get them from their website!

Nicho fished: daiwa saltist with a jygpro 7’10 long fall 2-400g
Matt fished: Penn fathom 15 on the goofish sassy blue also 2-400g

Chuckleheads are fun to catch and great to eat however, this trip we were constantly catching chuckleheads and having to release them. The regulations this year only allows one per person so letting these fish go was disappointing.
