Thank you Adam! We’ve only played a couple of the scenarios so far but had a blast with this, including some laugh out loud moments. Your unboxing prompts me to get it back to the table, most likely solo. What I found very useful was an abstract rendition of the map someone posted on the Geek which shows clearly the roads, paths, connections etc. The art is great but not the easiest to navigate always. I’m going to hunt down some alt dice - great idea!
I’ve heard some of the situations the game gets you into (or you do yourself) is quite funny. The dice I grabbed are all Chessex Vortex dice if that helps! 😄
I have this coming soon ... so looking forward to it and your play through. I was the same as you, on first seeing the really didnt want to see any more, but now it is so good and refreshing in a sea of look a likes ... I also really appreciate the simple but smart mechanics in this game .... can't wait for it to arrive!
I plan to do one! I just can’t promise a timeframe as I have some things lined up. However, I want to get this to the table and played behind the scenes in the meantime to prepare 😄👍🏼
I hate to be that guy. The colour scheme whilst intentional, reminds me of the high contrast setting on old computers for the visually impaired. I hate that I'm saying this but kinda wish the colours were a bit more muted. I get it, it's the theme, guess its just not one for me. Think I may be burned out on purchases after going in on isofarian and adventure tactics so take my input with a pinch of salt if I become the minority on the colour choice.
Honestly, I felt the same way originally which is why I held off on buying it for years. However, gameplay trumps those kind of issues for me so it was time to put it aside and embrace it. :)
@@RollingSolo yeah I think that's the battle I'm having, game play and characters really stand out as unique. All credit to the game for that, gonna watch some more vids and try to get over my contrast bias as the gameplay itself looks darn good

Worst case, the game is easy to sell second hand if it doesn’t check the boxes for you. So that’s a plus!
The art style makes this a no go for me, the harsh colors would give me a headache after a few minutes. Pity because it looks really fun.
