    Polyform A series buoys are identical...Aqua bags borrowed from the marine industry....polyforms are almost 2/3rds cheaper and exactly the same,bar the marketing signage!

      Thanks for the tip! That will make a home gym a lot cheaper!

      Someone passed that knowledge to me(thats how we learn right ;) and it makes perfect sense to go with the polyforms...
      Aqua bags probably are made in the same factory,and just stipulate their brand is put onto theirs...
      marketed as specialist item when its a tried and tested buoy ;)

      Ah wow, that makes a lot of sense! It's the same with a lot of martial arts gear to be honest! All the same factories make the gear, but the logos are different!

    Just moved to a gym with an aqua bag, can't wait to try it.. Really like seeing what workouts you do, as it gives me ideas when I go into the gym. Keep the workouts coming pal.

    I think I'm going to get one of these for my garage. It looks like a good bag to practice my bare knuckle strikes. Great demo, man.

      Herman Branche cheers bro! I really recommend these for boxing they're my favorite now by far. Not so comfortable for bare fist due to the plastic, its not quite like canvas or a makiwara! If I could only have 1 bag to box at a home gym Id have 1 of these for certain.

  • @zoorrken

    Nice. Should you use a spring on the hook or just the chain to a hook in the ceiling for best movement on the bag?

    • @MixedMartialHelp
      @MixedMartialHelp  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just the chain attached to a hook or frame is fine, if you keep the chain long it will swing more, shorter it will swing less.

      Martial Lee - Head Vegan Ninja i have problems with my right wrist. Surgery because of a crack at discus triangularis. Heavy bag training not possible. My question: do you feel the pressure when you punch like on a heavy bag?

    • @MixedMartialHelp
      @MixedMartialHelp  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      boniko82 ahhh ouch! I have problems with my left but it was a break of the radius and ulna. I like aqua bags because the impact is uniform, its the same wherever you hit it. But its still there!

    what an awkward place to place the bag. management is weird

    • @MixedMartialHelp
      @MixedMartialHelp  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was the best of the options. There was no real space to hang bags because it was in a weird unit that wasn't built for this.
      They are in a better location now with custom made frames for heavy bags.
