Kakeru lost mainly bcs he allowed Hikaru dictate the pace of the battle. Kakeru wasn’t aggressive enough. I think that he got cornered too much and it’s hard for a lot of characters to survive that. She’s got “corner carry”…not as effective as Ken’s but she’s got it.
