Now I see the clear differences between their gameplay. I had no idea how high risk/reward word is. Hikaru is a bit more patient. Both are incredible.
This is my valuation aswell. Word get "lucky" often. Meaning they seem to have a good read most of the time. Kind of how good grapplers are successful.

Now I see...both have different fighting styles with the same character, Hikaru is more patient and strategic in his combos while Word is more aggressive putting pressure on his opponent, this was an epic fight about patience vs brutality. It was an EPIC fight, my 2 favorite players ❤️🥀✨️~☆

Diagonal lash would not hit there. He wanted level 3, so he went for horizontal lash to hit confirm into it and missed

Impressive fights. Hikaru plays like an Anaconda. He's good with fight of attrition. Study his enemies action and react afterwards.On the other hand, Word plays like a rattlesnake. With aggressive attack and extremely strong attack instincts. Sometimes the best defense is offense. Both are impressive players
hikaru switched up his combos and entries so many times. switching it up like that against an opponent like word is not easy. gg
