I like Hikaru aggressive aki play. But his drive gauge management is a bit off, that make him in burnout a lot lately.

Yes I agree, I think he gets really eager to rush down but aki is best used patiently.

He's just barely off enough for it to really hurt him. Because he's always played super aggressive and thus super close to burnout as a result but before he was good enough at managing his drive that he would come about as close as you can get without going too far. So now he's just off enough and he plays just close enough to burnout that he's actually burning out for a change. And it sucks because it's not something you can easily practice because it's more of a meta skill.

this hikari person is pretty consistent on beating top chun li players and judging from the MU I’m pretty sure chunli is one of akis worst MUs but regardless I think being more aggressive is the play as aki because of her DOTs and the way how she can sneak in and dash across and I’ve noticed hikari never uses that dash or ex dash that she has cuz that really can punish chun li on a lot of her shit for a free combo
