I agree the Tatiana's presence was was kind of wasted here, but Jinjer have been so busy as roving Ambassadors for Ukraine ever since they just barely escaped the Orcs over running their home town (Donetsk) that it is nice that she could spare the time to appear in the video.
Late to the party, but since it's not answered in the comments. The connection is that Tatiana is married to the touring drummer of P.O.D. (Alex Lopez). Not sure if Lopez is still with them. P.O.D. also toured with Jinjer in 2022.
I've been a Jah Warrior since their first album in ..... 1999? Surprised to see this song come across my feed a few days ago. I agree with your reaction. It's good but could have been better. They should have featured her a little more front-and-center with her vocals. Oh well, still a good song.
