The Jinjer rabbit hole is very deep and a whole lot of fun! Jinjer is one of the rare bands that are even better live! Awesome reaction!
Perennial here, and Pit of Consciousness in Kiev, are the 2 usually recommended ,when one starts their Jinjer journey, to show them that she can do it live. Of course, Roman, Eugene, and Vlad kill it too.
Yes, "Teacher Teacher" is a good one. And for a song from the most recent album, and one of my favorites, try "Vortex".
PIt of Conciousness live at Kiev is another of their best live songs... Teacher Teacher is good as well... but it's best in official video

Tati uesd to use off the shelf in ears but now she gets hers custom made so she rarely has issues with her left always falling out. The song is about seasonal depressive disorder that she has . She knows that spring is right around the corner.

A band like Jinjer comes along every 10 to 20 years, I think that they finished of this concert with a bang. I have been following this band for about 6 years now. Their talent I find is so amazing. Another band to check out that really goes well with Jinjer is the Ukrainian band Ignea.

Another great reaction dude! This song is about the change of the seasons and Tatiana's seasonal depression in particular. Yes, I would recommend Teacher Teacher! (OMV) next, and Who Is Gonna Be The One (Live). IMHO Vortex (OMV) is their best video and possibly their best song. Matter of taste of course!

Perennial was the first song they played when I saw them this past July. Great way to open their show. I also strongly suggest the official video for Teacher, Teacher! with over 13 million views now. The first Jinjer song I ever heard and still my favorite.

Loving the Jinjer reactions, keep 'em coming. Yes this band is the real deal. I got to see them live in Atlanta in December 2022. What a killer show. Live is really their superpower. Try "Pit of Consciousness" live in Kiev. Also yes "Teacher Teacher" is a great choice also.

I don’t I can ever skip a Jinjer song. The wife even begrudgingly listens. The whole band is an immense talent that I’ll forever cherish. What about some Nu metal like Mudvayne. I’m a big fan of the video of Cradle from Rock am Ring in the early 2000s. I still adore Chad as a front man but that old voice was something special. Living the song opposed to perfect execution.
Ya know, I think Mudvayne I know the least about when it comes to Nu metal. I know what they look like but not their music. Maybe a good rabbit hole to jump into. Thank you! 🤘❤️🤘

Other than that, 'Outlander', 'Ape', and 'Vortex', just to throw a few killer tracks.
Edit: A very nice pick up on the lyrics meaning, Tati being a very sensitive person colors her texts with a range of social and psychological issues and phenomena.
When I saw them live here in Vancouver in 2022 this was their best live song, Fucken rocked!, All their tunes are great live though, Love this band! 🤘

Bill, I found your channel because of your reaction to Jinjer Pisces. Then I saw all your reactions to Nightwish, Epica, Ayreon, and Blackbriar. I love all of these bands. Not only have you just scratched the surface with these 5 bands there are so many more bands that you will love. I'll give you the names of some other great bands but let others recommend specific songs.
Unleash the Archers (Canadian)
Spiritbox (Canadian)
Beyond the Black (Swedish I think)
Ad Infinitum (Swiss and German)
Within Temptation (Dutch)
Amaranthe (Swedish)
Lacuna Coil (Italian)
All of these bands fall into some sub-genre of metal or another.
Another really interesting group I've come across recently is Otyken. They are made up of the indigenous people of Siberia. They live in small villages in a remote and difficult to travel to part of Siberia. They still get the majority of their food from hunting, gathering, fishing, and farming. Their lyrics are sung in a language that only has about 20-50 native speakers left in the world and use mostly traditional instruments. They share a common ancestry with Native Alaskans and Americans. They started recording music as a way to preserve their language before it goes extinct. Their music is fun to listen to but definitely outside the norm of what we Americans are accustomed to hearing. A couple of good songs to get you started are

Wow! Thank you my friend! Welcome to the show and the family! I really appreciate the band recommendations. the only one I've heard of and have at least heard one song is Lacuna Coil. Don't remember what song it was but I remember it came out about the time Evenescence got huge in the States and I remember thinking how much I liked them better (less pop-ie, heavier) The one from Siberia really has me intrigued. I'll be reacting to The Hu soon and it sounds like a similar path. Keep an eye out for those bands!🤘❤️🤘

I have to agree with you, my friend! If I were 14 again and just discovered this band, it would be life changing! As it was when I discovered Metallica at 14 (before Kill 'em All). Since starting this channel, it's like a renaissance of metal for me! 🤘❤️🤘

You're right of course. Things do happen. There is "shit happens" and then there is incompetence. If nothing else I sympathize with anyone who does the first set of the day at 11AM at Wacken if it's that hard to get things working so that the last song is the only one that came out decently. Seems the Wacken crew would be better than that. I've been in those situations too but I think the problems were a little over the top especially since it wasn't the first day. It's a miracle this song turned out the way it did. Part of it was her in-ears. In fact the set was delayed ten minutes because someone else was singing in her in-ears.
The song is about seasonal depression over the changing of the seasons so you got that right as well.
Everybody discovers a band at some point. Jinjer's been blowing up for quite a while, but this is a fine time to get into them.
It was pretty scary at the start of the war... Tatiana was visiting her boyfriend in Cali at the time, but the boys were all in Kyiv, and refused to flee. They were very active, running supplies, helping build and renovate shelters, donating to small businesses that got destroyed... I checked the news every day hoping not to see that one of them got killed. Thankfully it never happened, and about a year in, President Zelensky ordered them to leave the country as he felt they could better serve as cultural ambassadors than as just three more pairs of hands.

@@BemusingBill no problem my man, I know this was your 3rd reaction but welcome to the world of Jinjer! Been a fan since like fall of 2015 when I randomly saw the video for "Sit, Stay, Rollover"!!! Was pretty much hooked and have obtained every album they've released! Only thing I have left to do is actually see em live! Everytime they've come near me, wasn't able to go! Last time they were near me they were touring with Disturbed & Breaking Benjamin! Would have been a cool show to go to! But ol well there's always next time! Lol they should be releasing a new album soon, so hopefully they're doing a headlining tour and they possibly have another killer band with a female singer called STELLVRIS (pronounced Stellaris) as an opening act! That's another band you should check out!
