I love Bare Minerals original foundation. I just wash my face, put some moisturizer on and swirl this foundation on. The longer you buff, the better it looks.
Thanks for this great vid. I've always avoided mineral make-up as my skin is so dry but this has made me rethink. It looks so quick and easy and your skin looks amazing! Would also love to know what eye make-up and lip gloss shades you're wearing x
You have amazing skin without makeup! Gorgeous, in fact! I'm also a big fan of mineral foundation and have been for many years. It feels like you have nothing on your face and it looks even better after about an hour of application.
I am also using the Laura Mercier mineral powder. What moisturizer do you use before you apply it? Also what brush do you use for your mineral powder? I just found you I am a new subscriber from California!
Stacy Hughes welcome I use the Elizabeth Arden Mineral powder brush featured in my five minute makeup vlog - I don't use moisturiser as I layer on Serums so they are super lightweight and not greasy xxx
Hi, Nadine. I was trying to find a video where you talk about your mineral spf choices ? You advised me to try them because I have a very sensitive skin and am prone to PMLE. Do you wear an extra spf on your face in the UK daily ? I don't tend to wear my bare minerals foundation day to day, and I'm normally only outside when walking my dog around the block 🤗 I like to look natural, as I'm a 52 year old beauty therapist , and my natural skin is a pretty good advertisement ! Could you point me in the right video direction, please 🙏🏻
Karen Aldrin no I don't wear a chemical SPF every day as if I'm out I have two mineral powders on with SPF 15/20 that is Laura Mercier and Jane Iredale and personally I think that's enough for 3/4 of the British Year xxx
Hi Nadine, can you tell me what brush she used to apply the mineral foundation? Any recommendations on a primer for dry skin that would work well the the mineral powder foundation?
Hi Stacey I m not a fan of bronzing gels and find them too difficult to blend, instead I would use a face tanner like the James Read Overnight Sleep Tan Mask and then a bronzer like the Hourglass one XXX
I love the idea of mineral makeup but when I have tried it in the past it looks so shiny after an hour and settled into my lines....mac mineralised skin finish and bare minerals both had this effect....should I give up or try another...? thank you x (love the shadow effect under the lower lash, I don't ware liner under there for the same reason you said) x
+angie x Hi Angie, I agree I too can look shiny after a while and tend to still use a matte finish powder (especially for filming) either from MAC or Bareminerals (they do a great matte powder) down the centre panel of my face.) I am 53 but don't find that the Laura Mercier Mineral powder settles in to my lines, in fact it blurs them. Try it on counter and walk away wear it for a day and see if it does the same for you - always try before you buy. XCC
+Nadine Baggott just to let you know I managed to get a sample of the Laura mercier mineral powder foundation, (I was matched to rich vanilla) and I am in love...its like no other mineral powder I've used before, it lasts all day, great coverage, feels light, gives the most gorgeous glow but by no means shine and did a great job on my pores and fine line...going to buy this at the weekend. Thanks for the help. x
I loved the look of bare minerals on my face but I'm totally allergic to it! :( it made my skin feel like it was on fire. Such a shame because it is a great look. I'm thoroughly jealous - you look fab! x
+Roxy Simmons Hi Roxy Try the Youngblood stuff on counter or as a tester - my friend Sophie used it after having radio and chemo and chose it because her skin was super sensitive ... good luck X
Hello Janet Do you mean reflective shiny or oily shiny? The titanium dioxide in mineral makeup can make skin flare and look reflective - but it definitely should not make your skin look oily. I team the laura mercier powder with a transparent setting powder down my centre panel to stop this asI have normal to combination skin ... X
Love mineral make up, I have been using it for almost 15 years. Bare Mineral is the best, nothing can touch it.
You look absolutely stunning Nadine.. Thank you for a great video.. I too have learnt today about using bronzer underneath your eyes..
loved this video, it's true you look flawless and amazing
Great information. I’m 56 and I’ve used Bare Minerals for years. I absolutely love it. It fits me so well. It’s me only better lol
You look great. Thank you I'll try the laura mercier. x
Thanks Nadine ,I'm going to give it a try ☺
Wow looks gorgeous!

Oh my Gosh, y'all are convincing me!
What was the name of the color of lip gloss used ?
Gourgeous!

Lovely video, but it would be helpful if you do the video on a person with problematic skin, not with someone that has perfect skin.
This is a great vid! I'd like SJ to do my face too. Mineral makeup makes my eyebrows itch and I don't know why! I feel like I'm really missing out!
Bevlova B try the matte formula. Doesn’t contain the ingredient that makes some people itch
What product serum/ moisturizer do you use right before the mineral powder? Thanks!!
Anything lightweight with antioxidants and I let it sink in ... otherwise it clings to your powder ... I tend to style my hair whilst it sinks in XXX
What did you use for eyeliner - the usual Bobbie Brown shadow, or something else. It wasn't mentioned.
Fiona Frazer this is all BareMinerals but I still love my BB powder liner x
Does one still have to use a silicone primer if one has large pores, or is there a matte finish choice that helps with that?
Liz Miller the soft focus silicone primers like the ones from BareMinerals and Clinique are perfect for masking pores x

Nadine Baggott thanks 😘

Could you recommend a bronzing gel for the face? Would I apply that before the minimal make up? Thank you

sorry Stacy (no e) X

This has made my day - it is brilliant isn't it, and so glad I could help.
I am 67 would BareMinerals be okay for me to use? I have no blemishes but I am very pale and I have wrinkles.
Dawn Gealy yes! I’m 65 and use it. Just use a moisturizer (I use Cerave daily moisturizer on my face) I like it so much better than liquid foundation
It makes my pores look like valleys. How do I keep that from happening?
nononsense use a moisturizer such as Cerave daily moisturizer before applying mineral foundation

Try the matte formula
Attractive!
Every mineral makeup I have tried leaves me horribly shiny in five minutes. I am sixty and have dry skin so I can't understand it.

It looks oily and very unattractive.
