To say Jon jones legendary is crap. He eye pokes everyone. LISTEN. So you have two eyes. Can you see a fist coming at you if your eye is suddenly blurred and creaming with pain? I`m sure of course this never happened, *of course*, but... just for the purposes of conjecture... lets say that Dana had been enabling Jones getting roided to the max with full knowledge for years (and who knows who else too), suddenly, his complete inability to say or do ANYTHING even slightly rational about Jones without exploding into swearing rants, or indeed do what anyone else would do in the same place (say you have to fight Tom or lose the belt) starts to make sense. All a silly fantasy of mine I`m sure.
Jones needs to retire he's got nothing else to prove. I massively respect both men but it's a different era, even though Jones has been the most entertaining since Velasquez (my opinion agree or disagree I'm not arsed) Tom is the main man now
I do think Jon will retire after stipe, and tbh I believe Tom would beat Jon. My only issues with Jon is his actions outside the cage and what the ufc has afforded him to get away with. I feel like they need to be paid back and what better way then to give his shine to the new and best heavyweight

If Tom wasn’t the interim champion I wouldn’t have a problem with the Jon vs stipe fight but now we have two champs in the same division. Jon will fight stipe then retire so there is always going to be that mark against Tom that he never actually beat the heavyweight champ, also who other than Jon do you see giving Tom a run for his money in a fight at heavyweight?

Two of the best of there era's yes both past there prime but they have one big fight in them left. Both men have fought wars and deserve to go out on there own terms.
