@@Sleeepy23 Jon either fights stipe whilst vacating the title or fights the interim champ as soon as possible after recovering. Fighting the interim champ should by default always be the next fight. Jon is clearly avoiding this because he’s less confident about winning against Tom compared to winning against stipe. He’s clearly dodging this fight. This is also assuming jones won’t retire after a fight with stipe.
There is a possibility that jones will finish his career after fighting stipe and he will never give Tom the chance to fight him. It looks like jones is doing a fair bit of work to avoid a fight that should be the number one priority.

Stipe Miocic, regarded as the heavyweight GOAT, hasn't been as active recently, with his last fight against Ngannou in 2021 and one in 2020. Despite his status, it’s visually clear he's past his prime and shouldn’t be in title contention.
The UFC is clearly feeding Miocic to Jones to potentially diminish the standing of the true undisputed heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou.

I agree that Ngannou really feels like the real champion. What really should've happened was Jones vs Ngannou. Then he had the right to call out Stipe if he wants. That's just how it goes. It's all messed up but it's not Jon Jones fault. It's a combination of different factors.

Jon Jones was supposed to fight Stipe before Tom was even signed to fight . They postponed the fight and then Tom signed to fight for an interim knowing that regardless of him or Sergei winning Jones was fighting Stipe next.
Now suddenly Jones is ducking Tom . If you’re being honest and not just a fan of Tom you would be honest.

That said, JJ was inactive for a good period of time and eventually faced, at a higher weight class, another highly dominant fighter and literally smothered him. We've not seen Aspinall vs Jones at any other time, so to say one of them is hands down the favorite is pure trash talk............... I do look forward to the matchup and no, I don't have a favorite here
EDIT: Thinking about this some more; why didn't Tom fight Ciryl Gane instead of Blades? Ciryl was the one JJ smothered, so why not take that fight to move yourself that much further up?
