4D Construction Simulation

Simulation of the construction schedule for installation of large diameter steel ducts in an acid plant. This work was critical path to commissioning of the facility and getting all the pieces in required some detailed planning using the 3d model. This allowed the construction team to figure out the optimal spool configuration to maximise preassembly, minimising working from heights and confined spaces.
Systems used: Primavera P6 for schedule development, Navisworks Timeliner for linking the model to schedule activities.
