Carp are invasive and a major problem for Utah Lake, which is why I am just killing them, cutting them, and putting them back in the lake. They are also contaminated with PCBs, so consumption of Utah Lake carp is limited to low quantities. www.junesuckerrecovery.org/recovery-projects/managing-non-native-fish
A steel rod and a knife =) .... Oh you probably mean the bow. It's an old PSE silverhawk. In this vid I am using an AMS bottle reel, but I've since swapped to muzzy XDs with clicky sticks or megamouth reels.
@@Not.Landon I have through-rods for both reel setups. For a retriever reel I used this type, which was a bit tough to find: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C675LXV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 For spincast reels you need a reel seat to mount the reel on, which threads into the stabilizer spot on your bow. The reel seat will usually have a threaded portion at the front where you can put a through-rod.
