Well, if you want to actually hear about stereo, go to about 18:45 in the video. Wish the video would have started with stereo and actually showed cabling.

This is by far the best comparison video. I’ve just bought my first Blackstar Debut 50r and if I love it I’ll by a second. I just need to work around using the Blackstar overdrives before my chorus, delays. I hope you can do a video on it. Cheers

Thanks for this! I've tried dual-mono set-ups but was never really happy. This helps out tremendously.

Hey man thanks for this video! What about the FX Loop? Wouldn't putting all of the effects through the front of amp sound messy? Or does this not matter so much in stereo?

I've just bought a Blackstar ID core V1 stereo. Should i buy a stereo guitar cable? Your advice will be appreciated.

I'm actually toying with getting a second Boss Katana 100w 1x12 only because that is an amp you can gig with (though I gig with my DSL100 and a 4x10 cab. If money were no option that's what Id use. But hauling around that much heavy gear in my 60's is frankly, not worth the work for what you get paid in today's world.)

Your arm movements (L and R) and the placement of the amps on the screen (L and R) were all from your perspective, which is the opposite of ours (viewers). In future stereo-related videos, I suggest you change that so it "makes sense" to the viewer. Good info, though.

With two heads into that one cab

Did I miss the explanation of signal path right before you go in to true stereo with the panning trem.. you said you rain it out stereo - did you bypass the AB then? Thanks

Both amps are out of phase in the whole video. You need a splitter that can flip the phase on one side so you can match it.

What causes this? Is it the speaker polarity or wattage? Do you have any idea brother?

I thought something was off, too bad because the instructions are clear and concise. The visuals really help with understand the signal chain. So many of these videos are by rambling musicians w ADHD.

@@LloydTheHuman when 2 amps have a similar or exact same frequency range or settings, speakers, or microphones, it causes each other to cancel each other out.

There's a phantom channel at the centre. You can avoid this by using a delay pedal that has a killdry setting. Meaning it cuts out the dry signal. Set the delay anywhere between 10-30ms. Not on both signals, just one.
Edit: Also, set the delay so that it only repeats once.
Edit 2: oh he does this at the end.

Hi! I have the Blackstar ht-20 + Blackstar HTV 212 MKII. Can I connect the head to the cab using 2 cables, in stereo? Sorry for the very basic question… but I need to be sure that it will not blow the rig :)

I've heard where the Studio 10 has been likened to a Fender blackface in tone. To my ear, I think it lacks some of the crispness of a true blackface. Is there maybe a Blackstar solid state amp that can dial in the blackface tone a bit more successfully? Thanks!

😅 so I can't link my two amps together using ..two guitar chords?? One from guitar to 1st amp..then another..to the input of the second amp...??? ..kidding me???...I'm not going to buy...a splitter...or..a box...I'll...twist.. guitar chordss .. together before I. ...I buy..any BS....boxes..I rely on feedback...

      Hey Terry,
I did actually pan them according to the listener perspective. If you notice, I refer to the Studio 10 6L6 as being on the left side, and it comes out of the left speaker, likewise, the HT20 Mkii comes from the right side. So you're hearing it the same way I'm hearing it in the room, but when I refer to left and right, it matches what you hear in the video.
