Once again I would like to thank you Leigh & also Blackstar for posting this excellent video explaining the "Resonance" & "Presence" knobs on an amplifier. I was not aware that they are EQ knobs for the Power Amplifier section of an amp. I have a Blackstar ID:Core 40 Amp & have access to these two knobs via the Architect software. After watching this video I was able to dial in a great clean sound with a taste of Reverb that sounds awesome to my ears...! Thanks again, Leigh & Blackstar...!
Thanks for the video leigh. I have the silverline 20 is great but it can so8nd overly loud in the high range. Would adjusting the resonance or presence help with this?
Blackstar NEVER responds to comments or emails. I have an ID15TVP and the res/pres are saved per patch- NOT global. (And their forum isn't working. Youre on your own with this brand. Great amp. Hope it never needs repair. No way it could be serviced.)

@@Blackstaramps In fact, I was going to delete this comment. Yes, I actually got several detailed responses to my questions. Sorry for being impatient. Keep up the good work!
Just got a Silverline Standard 20, and this was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Great explanation and demonstration.

Again great video. Very informative. Thank you.
I didn't know that the presence control was on the power amp section and not the pre-amp section, good information, thanks.
Great video. Thanks for explaining.
Just what I was looking for. Very happy TVP260 owner.
Interesting video.
Thank you for doing this video.
Glad it was helpful!

Dont hear any difference in any of the sound.
It’s more subtle than the preamp EQ.
