I will be very disappointed if the day comes that these remarkable machines are totally replaced by string pin setters. String machines are simpler, easier to maintain, and have a lower acquisition cost. But they can never replace traditional free fall pinsetters for realistic action.

Will never happen. The game might die someday, but if it does, old Brunswick A2's will still be working.

Agreed although when I started as a mechanic 35 years ago, I saw the same bowlers at least 2-3 times a week. we also had a 6 and 9 pm shift 5 days a week one shift on saturday and 4 shifts on sunday. I believe for freefall machines to stay, league bowlers need to step up and bowl multiple times a week

@@riversarcadereview385 There are still new installs going on with New Free Fall GS-X, and Edge . Amf just put out a new free fall edge. Tho I agree, but I really do see bowling "leagues" turning to club like with smaller bowling centers even in major markets for them with the focus being on League, some open, and most likely some other thing to bring in rev maybe food/bar more upscale. But even then.. I dont see these centers having the hay day 40+ lanes.. more like 16-20 ish sadly. But still that will still be better then next gen string. I honestly do think the second the PBA airs strings on the pin setters the moment theyll start getting less and less viewership at least, maybe that will push bowlero to have aat the very least pba free fall houses in markets around the states I guess?

"pindicators!" much more interesting to look at than these silly murals for masking.....I have an AMF pindicator on my game room wall. The 12 volt lamps eat up some serious current.
