Great. Glad it was helpful/ Thanks for watching
Really useful - thanks Jill. Great to know it's not too late ! I think we appreciate things that come into flower more when we think it's nearly all over ! 😊❤
So true! Thanks for watching.
SO helpful, thank you!
Finding your videos really helpful, as this is my first year growing a cutting garden. My only worry about successional sowing with these seeds, is that my unheated greenhouse is so hot now. I supposed you'd sow them out side at this time of year.
I am so glad you are finding my videos helpful. Yes. You do not need to use your greenhouse for any of the flowers mentioned in this video. If it's your first year sowing try collecting some seeds as well for next year. If you were to sow only one I recommend Nigella because they will self seed and grow again next year without any effort from you. Which means you will be able to concentrate on other flowers and wont feel so overwhelmed.
I sow oil of primrose in July they flowered next month
Wow great tip. That's quick.
I did cornflowers last year , and I thought they would self seed like nigella but they didn’t as you say I wonder why they didn’t ?
I don't find cornflowers do self seed. I think they are a little too delicate, however you can get perennial cornflowers. I used to have them in my garden in Brighton. They are the Centaurea variety. It could make things easier if you don't want to have to grow the annuals from scratch every year.
@@JillBretherton yes thankyou, when I think of cornflowers I th8nk of them in a wild seed meadow perhaps the6 are the per annual ones thankyou , happy gardening
