In terms of strain on the v10, how robust is the engine with the turbo kit fitted lets say you ran it 1000-1100bhp as a daily, now and again driving hard, would it blow the engine up eventually or is the v10 just actually that robust? How long will this last? And for servicing will it always have to go to you to service which you could always check up on your existing work too? Can you run this with the rear bumper on and it be seamless integration so it doesnt look like you’re running twin turbo? What is the mpg difference roughly? (Doesnt really matter like to know stat differences) If you fit this how reliable is it to keep, will it stall a lot... or will it run normally like a normal car or have you had a couple ‘teething’ problems, where its trail and error? And having to return the car a lot? How bullet proof is this type of system? If theres a problem pulling it out the garage for instance how temperamental is the motec if it were to stall, will it failsafe the car to stop it throwing more fuel in for example or anything out of the ordinary? I know it may be hard to say but, so far how long from your testing do you think this will last if I were to have this twin turbo kit installed? Such as millage? Is it not recommended to be launched a lot? Or just roll away and then full throttle? And how frequent are the services per year/checkups, and costs so far? Cheers
You mentioned weak dct clutches when adding more power. Is that as soon as you go forced induction or over say 700hp/800/900 ? Basically, what do you rate the standard dct clutches to before you recommend an upgrade.
Awesome build!
Thanks!
Not too shabby!
now i know where will my r8 end up
To compare with sheepeyrace you guys are both same in terms of knowledge and customer needs great work 👍
Wow, thank you!
Looking at it, their just the UK version of sheepeyrace *lmao*
Great! Love the attention to details. Would you consider running around 800whp relatively safe on OEM ECU? Or Syvecs/Motec is a must?

Can the turbo kit be fitted to the latest generation of R8?
Yeah we have a number of Gen 2 TT R8 builds.

No just an area to be conscious of torque wise.
Anyone make a turbo "kit" for a V8, gen1? Only see supercharger for the V8..
Yeah we have built twin turbo V8’s, just not very popular.
How much is this kit
Hi Matthew, thanks for your interest - prices start from £22,500, plus vat, for the full installation.
The cats and by-pass should be swapped places.
umm i,m not sure 12k miles is an ultimate test of anything ,,actual miles on full boost is tiny surely
Depends how it’s been used!
